The God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob is made up of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

They deny the son. They don't have the father. It's not the same God.
1 John 2
22 Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son. 23 No one who denies the Son has the Father. Whoever confesses the Son has the Father also.

Okay, you go to Jerusalem and say that. You'll have destroyed everything that has been worked on since at least 1948. Not even Charismatic Christians would agree with you here.

Question is why is he paying so much attention in particular to muslim leaders?
He certainly is forming an alliance. If he was trying to unite religions then how about uniting all not just spend most time praying with the Muslims. ?...? ...??....mmm

Muslims are not even close, their Divine Book is nothing near our Scriptures. At least the unbelieving Jews have the true Scriptures (if only they'd read and believe).

I described them as anathema and apostates. On the last day, they will be as damned as any man who did not accept Christ.

As a group the plan of God is to save a multitude of Jews in the Tribulation, I don't believe any such plan is layed out for the Muslims in particular although their will be some Gentiles saved.

Islam will send you to hell, any faith that does not recognize Jesus as Lord, God and alive, will send you to hell.

A brother in the bible is a fellow believer. To call muslims brothers, by a christian leader no less, is equating their religion with christianity.

That is bad.

Very bad.

that wasn't my point. There are specific prophecies in the OT and Revelation dealing with the Jews with a promise to save a good portion of them...nothing specific dealing with the Muslims only as they are seen as gentiles of whom some come to believe.

No, I understand that argument. My point is twofold...
First, that the word brothers does not exclusively mean brother in Christ.
Second, that Islam and Judaism do seek to worship the One True God. They fail at this, but they are much closer to truth than any other religion in the world.

My bible tells me ALL OF ISRAEL will be saved as the tribulation period will kill off the undesirables while purging Israel and the Lord's churches!

If the Pope had said Islam is equated to Christianity then I might agree with you. However that's not what was said. The Pope only said muslims are our brothers.

Muslims = people

People = descendants of Adam whom God created

Jesus said we have to love our neighbors, even love our enemies, therefore we have to love our muslim brothers.
