Just wanted to defend U.S. President, Donald Trump, and his wife, Melania, against recent media news. Their private life is their business, and allegations of past issues, while seeming to have shock-value, and lifestyles in the past, when taken into context of where people were socially and culturally over two decades ago, regarding lifestyles and encountering life in younger days, it's clear that the President and First lady, as well as many of their friends, family members, and others in their acquaintance, have matured beyond the cultural shock of the world's wealth, and are directing their life experiences towards more positive, and meaningful goals.

Yesterday, while traveling through some remote, scenic winter mountain passes, stopping to rest, I turned the Bible randomly to Psalm 65 which has some inspiring scriptures from Jewish history of some three Millennia ago, (Millennia means "thousand years," while "Melania" the name of the First lady, is from the French, "Melanie," which is from the Latin, "Melania," the name of a Roman Saint in the 5th Century, who gave her wealth to charity).

Psalm 65 reads,
"Though our hearts are filled with sins, you forgive them all," and "You formed the mountains by your power," and, "You quieted the raging oceans with their pounding waves and silenced the shouting of the nations." (Psalm 65:1&6-7; NLT).

One commentary stated that, "it's difficult to imagine Melania building a new image, when her reputation precedes her." Nothing could be further from the truth. Seeing Donald Trump apologize before the world for his past indiscretions during a presidential debate with Hillary Clinton, and, seeing the First lady enduring the stormy seas of the cultural shock of her new role so elegantly, deflecting past allegations with class, shows that people can build new lives and images, especially when they face such unprecedented modern challenges, relying on, or at least seeking Divine help.
One of their high-profile friends and his wife, have also devoted their lives to diplomacy and saving the oceans, which are critical to the survival of this world.

I still see President Donald Trump as an experienced businessman, and strong leader who can make command decisions, such as "silencing the shouting of nations," as in North Korea, with a lot of help from the peaceful world example of South Korea, hosting the Winter Olympic Games.
First lady, Melania Trump, is giving young women throughout the world, a good example of how to face difficult, international unknown seas, with elegance, class, fearlessness, and mercy.

In the Judeo-Christian scriptures (Christian Bible--Judeo-Messianic, and New Testament of Jesus Christ), the raging seas are often compared to chaos and raging of nations, also compared to a "sea-serpent," or the rebellion and violence of fallen angels. Sometimes that chaos attempts to overpower individuals, as in the recent and past violence in the world by tormented individuals, rogue nations, and religions blinded by meaningless legalism and obsessed with cult-like control of their members.

Jesus demonstrated complete power over both--raging seas, and demon-possessed, silencing both with a single command!
This is the hope for the world-- the power of the love of God, that is "stronger than death," as King Solomon said, and Valentines Day: A day beginning with a Christian martyr, St. Valentine, whose love for God, and for Christ, the raging lions tried to tear apart. Did they succeed?
You be the judge--
Valentines Day, a day to honor the love of relationships between people, and Easter, the day to honor a restored relationship between Heaven and earth, through faith in Jesus of Nazareth, the Lord of Israel, are still celebrated today, some 200 centuries later.

Let us know if you see squirrel signs or clouds shaped in a 4-leaf clover to signify the media will stop bringing Trumps adulterous past up.

You mean like Slick Willie's.
So glad we got those two out of Arkansas.

No squirrels out here-- it's still winter and freezing cold. I've seen unusual things in clouds though--and St. Patrick's Day is coming up--
The media should think of liability issues. So should those two women who made the public accusations. I can't believe people would stoop to such ghetto-drama for a buck.

and opened my bible randomly to Psalm 7 this AM--
Jesus isn't an army of one--
Christians are supposed to be "TEAM JESUS!!"
St. Valentine was martyred by the lions, while Samuel was protected from them--
"Who will save your souls, when it comes to the powers of evil?"
both Valentine, and Samuel were saved--
"I come to you for protection, O LORD my GOD. Save me from my persecutors--rescue me!
If you don't, they will maul me like a lion, tearing me to pieces with no one to rescue me."
(Psalm 7:1-2).

I wasn't suggesting any course of action since it's a private matter and too many unknowns, or that the first lady should ignore the accusations since they appear to be more recent. Adultery is a different issue than just life in the fast lane 20 years ago. While the responsibilities of the office are serious, so are reputations, and a wife's honor. Some couples elect for temporary separations, which she could do while still maintaining her role as first lady.
