It's not about the Black Panthers. It's a fictional hero by Marvel Comics.

"This year they have gone too far! they are bringing out a movie glorifying the known hate group the black panthers. we will not stand for this!!!! we will boycott, protest, and spread the word of Jesus to these monsters at the "big mouse ear corporation". They are evil"

Who will be the first one to tell them that this is just a Marvel super hero action movie and has nothing to do with the political group called The Black Panther Party. In fact the comic book came out before the group ever formed. My goodness people are overreacting, this isn't a racial motivated movie, it's simply a comic book character adapted to the big screen. Simple as that, these types of people make Christians look very bad because it's just ignorance.

I didn't think this was your thought. :) I saw the negative posting about the movie online somewhere. Just posted it for those who may be unaware or had fallen for the okiedoke.

The comic has been out for decades but I'm sure it's possible for some to have not heard of it.

I have seen the last marvel movie with the black panther in it, and they all start beating each other up for some reason. OK, well I had the sound down and was not paying that much attention, I can't get into movies like I used to.

After the collateral damage incurred when the team is defending New York in The Avengers and the total destruction of Sokovia in Avengers: Age of Ultron, the world isn't happy with the superheroes. While they are trying to protect the earth, some see them as reckless, lawless vigilantes. In response to the public outcry, the United Nations draws up the Sokovia Accords, an agreement stating that the Avengers will agree to act only with the consent of the UN. Whoever doesn't sign the papers but still continues to fight crime will be arrested.

Feeling responsible for the deaths their interference caused, Tony/Iron Man is the first one to voice his support of the Accords. Natasha/Black Widow agrees with him, to the disbelief of Steve/Captain America, who wholeheartedly believes he is doing the right thing and that the Accords will hinder the team's ability to immediately respond to terrorist attacks. Eventually each of the Avengers ends up choosing a side. On Iron Man and Black Widow's team are War Machine, Vision, Black Panther, and Spider-Man. Fighting with Captain America are Hawkeye, Bucky Barnes, Falcon, Scarlet Witch, and Ant-Man.

Black Panther chose team Iron Man because Captain America's best friend was accused of killing his father.

Maybe I am getting old. But the comic world was simple and clear cut when I was young.
The good were good, and the bad were bad.
The Phantom lived in the jungle and Batman lived in Gotham City.
I knew who was who in the zoo.
Today every Tom, Dick and Harriette superhero and super-villain is teaming up and fighting in ongoing random chaotic mismatches.
Oh how simple the world of superheros was back in the 50s.

I'm sure there will be some liberal agenda mixed into it. It's hard to find a movie that doesn't nowadays. Not that I'm going to boycott anything...I'll probably never see it b/c I find superhero movies too boring. But yeah...most movies and tv shows are terrible nowadays.

I have a hard time believing the Facebook Group is legit. It sounds like something an atheist would start and then make the group sound like it's led by a stupid christian to try and smear christians as being moronic.

DC is releasing movies of their top Superheroes and with the exemption of WW, they all sucked. Marvel has continued to pump out great movies, also it's a way to get the "b and c" level guys into mainstream.
