Also, I hope you guys are not taking my gloating too seriously, hahahaha.

I'm quite satisfied with bucking the commentariat and most of my friends, but I think more than anything I'm just extremely relieved that Trump won this round. Hillary was poised to do terrible things. Really terrible things.

My guess is she would stay. Because there would be, in her mind, a bizarre power vacuum. She'd feel more free to finger wag at Trump supporters and Trump sympathizers. Then probably start talking about what the GOP ought to do to win (ie let us make a party in her image).

I also guess that you have the same guess. I'm so full of accurate guesses today.
i pretty much watched the whole thing and pretty much realized it was playing out the whole time just like you said it would. I'm relieved that Hillary didn't make it. Now I hope we get some justice on that front. Not holding my breathe. Trump is gonna have to be pragmatic about things I suspect.

I agree. I just loved his speech, very beautiful. I adore the fact he congratulated hillary and her team on how hard they worked running their campaign as it was not an easy one. That took courage and humility to do so and I have faith he will hold true to his promises made in his campaign. We need a man with that courage and humility to fix our broken nation and Trump is our man

Well I was right in generalities except that I missed one that was swimming in my head (wish I wrote it down)-

Down-ballot candidates were very strong where he needed them to be. Particularly Rubio. I know for a fact that Rubio's voter turnout operation crushed the Panhandle and the I-4 corridor. He probably also kept a sufficient number of Cubans from voting split ticket. Other GOP Senate candidates we loathe outside their states helped keep everything in the Trump column as well.

In the realm of specifics I wish I had mapped out the electoral college and took a shot at the popular vote. Because I was darn close in my suspicions. Mostly that the breathing space he would occupy was in the Great Lakes. I did not predict PA. That was a happy, happy bonus.

As for Hillary, I wouldn't hold my breath either. Let's just be glad we won this round, tiger. Make America Great Again!

He should've excluded Johnny P from that, though. Socialist, Satanist worm that he is.

Des' model gives Trump a current edge and Clinton the prevailing edge. Both sides have a strong chance of winning, but ultimately I think the baton will go to Trump.

Nationwide campaigns are tough nuts to crack analytically speaking. Right and wrong things need to happen on both sides in multiple areas. Things you can't adequately measure until the postmortem analysis unless you are working the campaign.

My view is that it's likely Trump here's why-

1. A tendency to out-perform the polls. That trend will continue to bear out after the primaries due to his draw with non-voters and even Democrats to a varying degree.

2. Many states that should be solid Clinton are in the toss-up category due to voter suppression (in the technical sense, not the legal sense). Clinton needs to mobilize the Obama constituency again if she wants a decisive victory. This isn't going to happen to that extent.

3. Early voting turnout is down overall. Even some states that rely mostly on EV have a Republican edge which is...bizarre.

4. Republicans tend to win on election day because more traditional voters come to the yard.

5. Clinton is coming from a hard late-campaign and has no more punches to land on her opponent.

This is, in many respects, a perfect storm. We'll see just how perfect.

I cannot see Clinton overcoming these factors. While the Electoral College and party stability favor Clinton, I think Trump crossed the proverbial Pyrenees at a moment opportune enough to have his Cannae tomorrow.

It'll then be up for Republican leaders to build a Romanesque system to keep the general in the field.
Nice job!

It appears that the LORD trumped the liberal agendas and honored the voices of 58 million unborn Americans. Apparently God/Christ considers unborn life to be sacred and confirmed that traditional marriage, between a man and woman, also confirmed by the presence of Jesus and Mary at the wedding at Cana--traditional marriage and family can never change since it was ordained by the Creator of Pro-creation...
Also, stewardship of hard-work over the entitlement mentality, was also confirmed, as well as loyalty of companies to America.
And Mr. Trump's victory also confirmed that Islam's core message, which is inherently violent, extremist, legalistic, confused, and archaic, remains a serious threat to national, and international security.

This victory is also a confirmation that God honors true, public repentance.

I'm going to rejoice and celebrate this amazing victory for a long time!!

I am really at a loss for words. I was never a Hillary supporter, but I fear Trumps thirst for wealth and power, and the fact he's basically supposed to be speaking for us all. There was an interview with him years ago with him saying he'd just lie to the presidency and everyone would believe him. Lord help us all.

That's why I posted it, brother. There was hope, but all the main election predictors out there were not going to tell you that.

Praise God! I prayed along with other saints for Trump to win and the Lord allowed it to happen! Now we have to hope that he is safe and will be allowed to take the oath of office on Jan 20th. I am very excited and hopeful about the future yet worried until Jan 20th....what a mix of emotions lol.....I hope he does a house cleaning of globalist politicians and generals from dc.....

I love it how when liberals win they say to the victor belongs the spoils but when conservatives win liberals say we need to work together. Wrong answer! Elections have consequences.
