In the United States, Flag Day is celebrated on June 14. It commemorates the adoption of the flag of the United States on June 14, 1777 by resolution of the Second Continental Congress.[1] The United States Army also celebrates the U.S. Army Birthdays on this date; Congress adopted "the American continental army" after reaching a consensus position in the Committee of the Whole on June 14, 1775. A lot of people don't know the importance or the history of our flag. Great post. Our flag on our front lawn waves every day in good weather and right beside our State flag.
God Bless America! And save her from her enemies both foreign and domestic. Amen!

I was lurking on a board last year. There were trolls there that openly hated America post after post when it was an American holiday thread. Some claimed to be American. People that hate their country are a virus. But unlike virus there's no cure but death. May they rot. Soon.

I love the flag. I love this country. I grew up in Philadelphia and have been to Betsy Ross's house (she sewed the first American flag), Ben Franklin's house, Independence Hall (the original capitol of our country), and learned so much about the birth of the nation and about the wars that were fought for freedom (Revolutionary War, Civil War, WWI, WWII, Vietnam). They taught us in grade school that the blue represents freedom, the red represents the blood and sacrifice of those who fought to protect our nation, and the white stands for purity (against corruption). That's different from what they say the colors mean today, but I prefer what my teacher told us.

It really disappoints me when I hear about the nfl players who would rather kneel than stand... and the people who support them. Its almost like a lot of people today don't have a soul or a heart. They are so filled with blind hatred, material worship and narcissism... Just a couple nights ago, legendary actor Robert DeNiro shouted the f-word at Trump in front of an audience of hollywood and broadway elites and they cheered him on!

Anyway, I digress... May God bless the USA!

we really don't LOVE anything 'here' in this 'fallen world' anymore!!!, ( decades) -
our Love is our 'calling' our destiny, that our Holy Saviour has blessed and elected us for -
the most heart-breaking thing of all,
I, me, the missis, and I'm speaking for the 'both' of us, is, (realizing the power of 'his' deception), we've lived it =
seen it and over-come it, by the GRACE of God!!", BUT, this space here, is a vehicle for 'refining' THOSE whom are 'truly=seeking'
God's LOVE and a will to serve Him' and to 'deny' the world', and Honour/Obey their True SAVIOUR!..

The way God saves this country from enemies both foreign and domestic is with the brave self-sacrificing members of the US military.
