Well as usual Moment of faith neglects to see the underlying differences in things.

There are big differences between what happened in Libya and what happened in Cairo.

In Libya an Al queda affiliate from the city of Durna planned a revenge killing for America killing Abu Yahyeh Al Libi with a drone. They chose the anniversary of 9/11 to do it. The Libyans have already found them and arrested 4 of them. We'll see just how much justice happens it might take awhile.

On the other hand, Cairo's rioting was entirely a reaction to the inflammatory video. The embassy there apologized to the Muslims in Cairo for the injection of this offensive video onto the internet explaining that in America we have freedom of speech and we cannot stop such video.

If you really enjoy seeing such inflammatory videos then you dont need to apologize for it but most people are frankly offended even if they are not Muslim and making apologies for was appropriate.

abair you need to go back into your cave and study reality better before coming back out. You have been listening to some right wing nut jobs who do not have the interests of America at heart.

Celeste, you are an ugly person. That was entirely uncalled for. Why don't you go back to your pig farm and study manners before coming out.

Hey now! I lived on a pig farm in North Central Kansas for ten years, we had better manners than that. Also, you probably could have done without the pig comment. Ya' know, fight fire with fire makes one huge fire.

I think when a Saudi Arabian who was once a Muslim is speaking against islam, might be someone to listen to when they begin to talk about the dangers of Islam, and it's wickedness.

LOL, I mean no offense to pig farmers, I am a farmer also. I wasn't thinking of her as the farmer in the scenario, but I'll stop there. :)

I wanted her to see how ugly she sounded, and I thought it was fair. My sister Abair gets on here from Saudi Arabia, fellowshipping with other Christians, and for someone to insult her like that is repulsive. Jesus called the Pharisees names, I don't feel bad about it. But I see where you're coming from.

Well Abair's ignorance of current affairs shows through with flying colors (can seem to write intelligently either.)

btw you really dont have a clue what ugly is if you think what i wrote was ugly. Frankly I was being far too civil more than abair deserved. I consider myself a Lady and will not get down into the mud like it seems you both like to wallow in daily.

File THAT one under irony.

English is her second language. There are six other grammatical errors in your post, why don't you educate yourself and then go find them?

Seriously, abair's comments were a little .... how shall we say .... expressive? But I have heard far worse from many people on this board, some in this very thread who have criticized abair, and I find that incredibly ironic.

Did you bother to notice abair's country of origin? Do you think that perhaps being from that country might give a woman a certain perspective on these issues?

Do you have no words of comfort for this woman? After all, from what I can tell, she is in agreement with the predominant opinion on this board. Most people here seem to think that Obama is terrible. I have to say, I don't understand why you attack her rather than agree with her.

I dont normally research where a poster comes from unless there is a reason and you have provided that reason.

Since this is a Christian chat room maybe we need to cut back on the politics it brings out the worst in us all.

You would think this...

Would maybe give someone a hint.

The language thing is interesting, generally when people are that way about "fernurs" its an expression of xenophobia. When I converse with the international students on campus, I bring my vocabulary and complexity of expression to a level they can understand, not out of pity but of compassion. I only had two classes of Spanish in high school, but if anyone can learn English well-enough to converse with me, you have my respect in that regard.

"Research" is typically not required.

All you have to do is look near the display name.

It's not always accurate though, some people like me don't put the flag of where they live.

The most extensive "research" one has to do, is look at a persons profile.
