Tim Kaine(Shrillary's running mate for VP) recently spoke at the Heinous Rights Campaign and explained how the Bible supports fake marriage. If you go to the link, it will take you to the part where he goes into his theology...

In case you don't want to watch the video, he said:

“I think it’s going to change because my church also teaches me about a Creator, in the first chapter of Genesis, who surveys the entire world, including mankind, and says: It is very good. It is very good,” Kaine said, in an apparent reference to God’s alleged nod of approval for homosexual practice.

and

“I want to add: ‘who am I to challenge God for the beautiful diversity of the human family?’ I think we’re supposed to celebrate it, not challenge it."

In short, it appears that not only did everything start as good, but always was good thereafter. Therefore, everything now is also good. How's that for theology!

He apparently accepts the creation account, but rejects the flood account?

You can make the Bible say anything smh The Bible is clear about homosexuality but we're coming up to the one world church. They will make wrong seem right and we are well on our way.

But it's like the idiot wasn't even trying. That's the laziest piece of nonsense I've read in a long time. And I've been a member of CC for quite some time!

If he is teaching this, then I suspect he isnt really a Christian, but an imposter whos trying to use "peaceful means" to push those coming to Christ to accept and show approval to what the world does.

Either that, or he deals with the issue and is trying to find some loop hole in God's word in order to comfort himself in what hes doing.

Thats a massive bummer, though. I mean its no surprise, but I still hate it every time I hear a story like this. I hope that those who follow this mans twisting of the word of God is a very small group of people who werent really interested in the Word of God to begin with.

Heres to hoping this thread doesnt get rammed with the "gays have the same rights we do" posts.

What's a yobbo? Not saying he isn't, just wondering what it means.

I'm reminded of the saying its Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve and its true. If maybe he read a little more of the bible (I can't say I've read the whole thing but Im working on it) But its what you expect a liberal to say anyway. Twisting God's words seem to come natural to them.

The entire party was quite clear and open about denying God and rejecting any mention of Him in their party platform. The most disgusting exhibition of pure blasphemy I have ever witnessed in a political convention in my life.

Yall think Trump is bad, watch out for Tim Kaine. I remember when Kaine was against gay marriage, baby murder, and the death penalty. That was only a few months before hillary asked him to be vp. He was a terrible governor and has been a terrible senator.

Worse still, a person takes multiple scriptures out of context in a weak attempt to bring another down and the members of their supposedly Jesus Chasing clique will 'like' the pontificating garbage to no end.

I would support Republican but they support the certain bills I don't like and have been mentioning since I started coming to this site. I really got no one in political spectrum to support but I'm fine with that.

My use of the word: yobbo = stupid/thoughtless person. The official meaning is the stereotypical/ocker Aussie though.

Using Kaine theology, what can be bad?

Apparently everything has remained good since the time of creation.
Sounds like the theology I used when I was a stupid kid in high school. I expect that from an uneducated kid, not a grown man.

In Kaine's case, it only took a single verse to make his own theology. Even at that, Kaine changed the verb tense from "it was very good" to "it is very good". Genesis 1 uses the past tense, not the present tense.

It's my opinion that this is how a lot of bad theology is developed...a single verse taken out of context and interpreted to mean whatever the person wants.
