Two Crows visited St. John's Catholic Church today on good Friday according to the Julian calendar, which was observed today in Jerusalem.

On the Julian calendar Good Friday was last Friday and not today. Don't get the significance of the two crows.

I looked it up, and today actually is Julien Good Friday. My grandparents were Eastern Orthodox, and my grandmother made huge meals for both Julian Christmas and Easter for my extended family. Those were special occasions eating lots of delicious Ukrainian food. Christmas is always 14 days later, but Easter is determined by Passover and lunar cycles, I believe.

I learned something new today about holidays. My Easter last Sunday was not the best as I had to work.

Yes, there are two calendars: The Gregorian calendar and the Julian calendar. So those who celebrate Eastern Orthodox Christmas and Easter (Paschal Easter) can celebrate Christmas twice and Easter twice.
