Are you honestly sitting there on your computer and saying that President Obama... or literally ANY past or future president is going to start killing Christians because they're Christians? I can't even... A majority of the Democratic party, by statistics, is Christian. They just don't treat America like the theocracy it isn't. Christian VALUES are great for a country to have. Christian RELIGION isn't. Any HUMAN (not counting Jesus's kingdom) theocracy, Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, w/e, is an affront to human rights and a slap in the face to the word 'democracy' or 'republic.'

I said it before and I'll say it again: as soon as Christian's rights are actually limited, I will stand up and fight. Until then, I see no problem.

Take a deep breath and read what I wrote.

"As soon as Christians rights are actually limited, I will stand up and fight."

At this point, no Christian rights are being limited. If and when that happens, I will fight.

IF Christians were ever in danger of being killed, LONG before that happened, their rights would start being chipped away at. Think of what happened in Germany in the 1920s. First they weren't allowed to own stores. Then they weren't allowed to own houses. Only after several years of chipping away at their rights did the cattle cars come.

If I see the kind of persecution in this country like what Jews saw in Germany 100 years ago, I will ABSOLUTELY stand up and fight. No, I won't wait for them to start killing Christians. I will start fighting before then. That is exactly what I said the first time, and I don't know how you could have possibly misunderstood it or misinterpreted it the way you did.

I'm not sure where you got the "start killing Christians" thing. In the US, that is not an issue. I know there are places around the world where Christians are being killed for their faith, and that makes me sad. There are braver men and women than myself who are going to those countries and helping as much as they can. I don't have the sense that God has called me to that kind of ministry -- and for that I'm grateful! If God is calling you to those countries, then by all means, follow that call. But the US, and pretty much all of the Western World, is not needing that kind of protection.

I'm not sure why you think Christians are so persecuted in the West. It really seems almost diseased, the attitude you have. Have you seen a specialist about this problem?

I'm telling you the bible says Christians will be killed. Those who will not denounce Jesus will have their heads cut off. They will not be able to buy or sell and you are seeing the start of it right now.

People believe Christian are stupid and will not move forward as Obama and his gang likes to say. We are stuck in the past and we are hurting the country / world with our narrow minded view.

That is not true. 44% said they would vote neither for Obama nor for Romney. That doesn't mean they're not going to vote. There are several 3rd-party candidates out there, one who has been polling into the double digits in some areas (though I'm not going to vote for him, either, I know some people on this board have expressed they will be voting for Ron Paul), and you can always go in and write-in a name on the ballot.

If you have the attitude that not voting for one of the two main parties is the same as not voting, they have already won.

They usurped the Tea Party and turned it into another government machine. Don't let them take all our rights.

I don't like the two party systems but no third party is going to win. I believe most of the tea party is voting for Romney.

Now if these people would like to stand at the voting booth with shirts on saying KNOCK the VOTE and tell the world they are not voting because our country is really a one party system now I may join in.

You've got a little problem with tenses there. The Biblical references to martyrdom have already happened. Perhaps you've heard of St. Paul, St. Peter, let's see ..... St. MARTYR!!!!!

Duh.

And yes, as I said, there are still places where Christians are persecuted. I pray for the victims there, and also the oppressors.

Is it possible that some day the US will start persecuting Christians? I believe it is possible. Both major parties have been having a lot of fun chipping away at our constitutional rights, I would not put it past some future president to play with that one. My point is we're not there yet, and we're not even close to there anywhere in the foreseeable future. And yes, I WILL see it when and if it comes. I am standing and fighting now as our rights to assemble and vote are being threatened, and I will stand and fight if and when our freedom of religion comes under fire.

They will not be able to buy or sell
???? Excuse me? Can you explain, please?

and you are seeing the start of it right now.
As I said, yes, I see it in other countries. If you're talking about the US or any other Western country, please provide an example more recent than 400AD.

People believe Christian are stupid and will not move forward as Obama and his gang likes to say. We are stuck in the past and we are hurting the country / world with our narrow minded view.
Yes, there are people who think Christians are stupid and will not move forward. Maybe that's because some Christians ARE stupid and will not move forward. It's unfair that all Christians get painted with the broad brush just because of the behavior of a few. I have met quite a few non-Christians who have been surprised to find out that I was a Christian; they say, "But, you seem so ... so reasonable." I do my best to try to counter the perception out there. Sadly, people like you, who see a monster behind every tree and a devil under every rock, are making it harder for people like me to defend Christianity.

Revelation 20: And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their testimony about Jesus and for proclaiming the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his statue, nor accepted his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They all came to life again, and they reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

Revelation 13:17 And no one could buy or sell anything without that mark, which was either the name of the beast or the number representing his name.

We are there and deep into it. All it's going to take is Romney to win election. The economy to collapse and then you will have HATE toward the rich 1% Christian that didn't want to help the 99%.

Obama wins and the economy collapse because the rich 1% didn’t want him to tax the rich and that’s why the country fell.

Class warfare has been pushed on us for 4 years.

Then you have a rebellion forming against GOD now. The DEMOCRATS were SCREAMING MAD about putting GOD back in the PLATFORM. They were MAD.

So you are one with the world.
Not even. All of my friends -- Christian and non -- comment that I really do march to the tune of my own accordion. I'm about as non-conformist you can get and still be considered human, I think.

How about neither: I simply do what Jesus calls me to do. Sometimes, in a few rare cases, I find myself riding a fence, because that is where Jesus is found. Sometimes my allegiance to Jesus makes me stand out in the crowd. Sometimes it keeps me hidden in the din. I don't really care what others think. I do what Jesus commands, and "darn the torpedoes, full speed ahead."

Because what you're saying Is I like to be conformational.
I never said nor implied that. You accused me of being "worldly" and I simply stated that I am not. I was not saying that you are. I don't know you well enough to know whether you are or are not, and frankly, I don't really care. The world is not 100% evil. God created it, and it was good. There are things "of the world" that are still good, and we can partake of those things and still be devoted to Jesus. It's not necessarily a bad thing to be of the world, as long as it's not primary. Jesus is primary. If Jesus takes you into the world, that's where you should go, and there is no shame in that.

If or when I see it I will do something, but in the mean time I will help bash you literalist Christians and your small minds
I am not "bashing" anyone. Simply pointing out errors where I find them. I'm sorry if you feel like you're being "bashed." I have tried to be gentle yet firm in my instruction, as Paul indicates. I know sometimes I fail, and for that I ask for forgiveness.

Jesus says he is the only way. Doesn't sound like a fence rider if you ask me. He says you will die in your sins if you don't believe I AM HE.

We all have to be in this word but we don't have to be part of this world and we are all EVIL from our youth and with the majority of the world not believing in Jesus this is a evil place and it's about to get a lot worse.

You don't bother me. I'm just someone on the outside looking in and telling you what I see. Now I may change my mind but you know what they say about first impression

Hey, Romney supports (I may or may not be included in your ilk, haven't made up my mind yet), I came across this interesting interview concerning Romney, it kinda gives an idea as to why some Christians won't vote for him (besides the fact that he's a Mormon). Idk, it comes off as conspiracy-ish, but there's alot of evidence to back it:

Is Romney Perfect .. NO .. and maybe we will be better prepared to get him out after 4 years and install someone more conservative, but Obama has to go.
