I have a friend.
She was the person I could
call to when I was depressed,
and she made me laugh
and even be happy

only 20 minutes

That is what it takes.
For a friend to
turn it around and make you
see that the big catastrophe
only was a minor
mishap and the world
is still excisting outside.

five minutes

was all it took
for me to see
that the friend I thought I had
was no longer there.

Sorry. I should have said my boyfriend instead of lover. But I do love him....

Hello, Toinena. I’m so sorry for your loss. It’s not easy when you lose such a dear special friend, and I can certainly understand that you are hurting. I’m praying for you and for all who loved her that God will surround you with His love, comfort and peace.
