Moonbeam Reflections
How splendid the stars
On this darkened night
As we walk the sands
With with a half moon light.
I look back and in our tracks
I see our wandering footsteps
Pressed into the sand.
Splashing waves echoing
Deep into nothingness
Disappearing somewhere
Places we'll never know.
And in the quietness between
Each crash upon the beach,
We look at the light reflecting
Off the water in changing
Shadows like kaleidoscope
Colors with the turning of
The lens, each moment
A new picture, another dream.
We stop and in the mist we feel the
Salty air fall away in little crystals.
Hand in hand, my Lord of eternity
You make my life complete.
