THE STORY OF A MOTH

A man found a cocoon of an Emperor Moth and took it home so he could watch the moth come out of the cocoon.

One day a small opening appeared. The man sat and watched the moth for several hours as it struggled to force its body through that little hole. Then it seemed to stop making any progress.

To the man it appeared that the moth had gotten as far as it could go and was stuck. Out of kindness the man decided to help the moth. He took some scissors and freed the moth. The moth began to crawl around, but it’s wing looked small and shriveled.

The wings never developed and the moth would only be able to crawl. The man in his kindness and haste didn’t understand that the struggle of exiting the cocoon was what forced fluid from the moths body into the wings.

Struggles in life....
are sometimes necessary.

nice analogy :)

i'll focus on the man, i think he falls on this verse: [another lesson to take]

Proverbs 14:12 There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.

better for the moth that it didn't die...
