Hardships and heartbreak of which I'm accustomed to, barely ever seize.
I try and try the pain won't die, I tell myself be strong.
It shouldn't be, but it seems to me a life of peace is distant.
You try and thrive, you fight and fight but you're broken in an instant.

Many a times have I been knocked down because of my weaknesses
Yet there is one whom I know my reliance is secured
The King of kings and Lord of lords.
By your spoken word so shall I be free
