I Wanna Be
(My first poem)

People look at me,and what do they see?
A mere 'child' tryin to dream
They see what they want
Not what I wanna be

I want people to see the Truth in my eyes
The Spirit in my heart
And the Light of the World shinin down on me
This is how I wanna be

People think they gotta change,but that's not the truth
You don't gotta wait for change
'Cause God'll change you
That's right,He'll change YOU

He changes us,inside and out
We don't gotta try to change,before we go to Him
God can make us what we wanna see
With Him,I'm who I wanna be
