My arms are lifted up to you,

So many times I just want to be held.
Given a safe place to rest.

As a father one of my greatest joys is to hold my daughter safe....protect her and affirm her....wishing you the same sister

This prayer and picture means the most to me. I never had a father that I felt safe with, or who loved like this. So, when I drew this little girl, I was drawing me. Me, in the sense that I have a playful side (always amusing myself) along with the feeling of loneliness and needing.
