Rain
I'm raining down blessings.
In the same manner you felt
my warmth of love.
The day that you became mine.
You said to me, "I wanna be real,
I wanna get to know you.
Rain down on me__________!
Rain down on me__________!"
Your soul cried in the secret places.
For I knew you before you knew you.
A soul deserted ,lost without rain.
That rain of life.
Come to me you say.
On a deserted plain.
"This is not me.", your soul says
apart from you.
" This is not me,
this is not who I am destined to be.
Rain down on me_________!
Rain down on me_________!"
Meant to fill me.
Meant to bring the real to me.
Rain down on me.
No more tainted days
where the sun goes away.
No more no one knows my pain.
And the days where I just go away.
Sodden and trodden,
I'm just not anything.
I want to be a real child.
One that moves, speaks and loves.
A real child of God.
No more summer's that drain.
No more clouds that fade, no more.
Empty memories of drought
because of being lost.
God has brought the rain.
Now I can cherish another day.
And not be caught in the blaming shame.
But be caught in his love.
Of being swayn in the rain.
His love that fills my heart with warmth.
Because Jesus felt the pain.
I'm raining down blessings.
In the same manner you felt
my warmth of love.
The day that you became mine.
