Search me and know me, my thoughts, heart, wrongs, dreams
Till every dot and tittle in Your Word
Makes room inside to grow this great, loved tree.
Till every purpose of Your heart from wombs
’My soul give birth on earth Thy Kingdom’s seeds
Search me and know me, my thoughts, heart, wrongs, dreams
Till every wound, grudge, up-comes forgiveness
By my will in Thine, if peace indeed they
Make or nil in these last, brutal, days of man
Search me and know me, my thoughts, heart, wrongs, dreams
And see this one you made- Thy heart in me
And see ‘midst phoney synagogues I seat
Thy Words ‘mongst wolves, hired hands, turned to deceits
Search me and know me, my thoughts, heart, wrongs, dreams
That few and fewer still- the entropy
‘This world in throws of death, still nigh to Thee
And Thee alone consider our lives cheap
Search me and know me, my thoughts, heart, wrongs, dreams
While the multitude turns away- lies sweeter
To their wicked wills and tastes, but believe they
Will the evil one with the bride’s retreat
Just as Israel You gave to unsee
Your Only Son, so this faithless union
Of days filled with children of treachery
Consummate together to serve The Beast.

And see as You did plant my wont- That still each
One who would and only come to call Thee
To save them, search Ye- just once ‘alls You need.
