Today___
Today I stared un-seeing out the cold, snow-laden window.
Only knowing pain so deep -
I couldn't go forward.
I couldn't stay put.
I looked up and there
in the distance
a neighbor stared at me.
Blowing snow, he saw me.
Ashamed I looked away.
"I should be shoveling"
"I should be cleaning."
A short time later, I hear
the snow blower casting snow
on the sidewalk and see my
walkway is plowed.
Thank you gentle neighbor
God has answered my heart's cry through you.
