The power I need

Dear Father I do pray.
I pray to you this day.
Please hear the words I say.
Please hear my prayer today

Dear God, and I mean dear.
I pray to you here.
Because to me.
You are indeed dear.
For I always feel.
How you're close and near.

Dear Father my God!
This much is true.
If I know anything.
My heart burns for you.

Dear Father I pray.
For your will to be done.
More than anything.
Under the sun.

My God, our Father.
You already know.
Whatever I'll pray for.
For what I need to sow.
For your sweet mercy.
And all that I owe.

For your awesome grace.
And for your awesome power.
For your helping hand.
In my needful hour.

My father my God.
Give me what I need.
Give me the power.
For me to achieve.
So I can succeed.
Because I believe.
That Christ is my saviour.
And if we ask.
We shall receive!

In the Holy and all powerful name of Jesus Christ.
