The path is not worn...it is the road less traveled.
It runs uphill.
Crowded by weeds and thistles.
It crosses the thicket of painful stripes.
Barely visible is a set of
Footprints.
This is the way, walk in it.
The footprints belong to Jesus.
Walk a mile in these...
But that is the way

Would you allow a person to walk in front of a bus?
It may mean their death.
If so, would you say, "I did not want this person to think I hated them."
Or would you call out and warn them.
Or would you say, "Quick, accept Jesus..."
As they offer their final breath.
To be lenient and call it compassion...is a disservice.
Would you say, be not hateful to one...
with loathing on your breath?
Do not take offense.
For it is not that to which I speak.
It is heart which I seek.
Bruised and battered
from storms without; battles within.
Death sought - she fought
She sought death - Jesus fought

Fight
