"Who Can Be Against Us"
If God be with us
who can be against us.
If I fall down and no one's around.
God will keep me safe and sound.
He won't let me down.
If I stand before man all alone.
If no one's there to take my hand.
God will be my consoler
and take my stand.
If all the world is falling down
under the ground.
God will be the ground that keeps me
standing solid above ground.
Though, I become frightened
When the fire is all around.
I won't start to panic,
but keeps God's word.
On my heart and upon my forehead.
I won't begin to reck the foundation
that has promised to
keep me found.
If God be with us
who can be against us.
I won't let the troubled waters
break me down.
If I worry about quick-sand
, sinking in the land.
I won't get where I am going.
I'll get stuck.
I will be quickened dead in this sand.
If I worry about my hurt hands.
If I worry about all the metal
the devil is using to confuse
and creat noise in my head.
I won't get where I desire to.
But God won't forget me.
Because God becomes stronger
in me
where weakness has been left.
Jesus is my savior he will
walk, talk and see for me.
When I can no longer reach
with my heart in my hands.
Lord, help us to consider,
conclude and concede.
When your time is ticking in the land.
To be able to give up
and let you give me a hand.
Giving into you
will give me the power
to become love in a dark,
stark kind of land.
Help us to look forward
to you.
And not make a crack in a
forbidden land.
All to you, you Lord,
not to the man.
