(my personal meditation on Adam and Eve and not my personal translation of each verse but careful thought about it)
The story of Adam is pretty short while he lived on his own with God and however long he lived with God it shows that although its a few verses long we can see it was a long time. Long enough for him to name all the animals and probably name them by their behaviors and physical appearance: The God given wisdom to know what to name them was the key.

Adam knew that he had it all but still wasn't comfortable because he needed something. He noticed God gave him everything he needed and more and with all this he still kept thinking: I want to be like God, I want to be like my best friend and make stuff too. He probably didn't have a clue what it was but as God knew He decided to let Adam figure it out so he brings Adam each animal and probably spent a day or two or weeks or Lord knows. Adam still doesn't know but God knows. God gives Adam the bestest friend and helper he could ever need: Eve.

Adam receives flesh from His flesh and bones from his bones and being a part of him he loved Eve more than he realized. He got the gift to be like God and had himself his helper and friend that he longed would make him more like his loving Creator and he would keep her safe and cherish her as God cherished Him. Eve would too feel the need to be like their Creator and God being way ahead of us gave her this emotional love to cherish and love her children as Adam cherish and loves her as God cherishes and loves all of them together.

Adam is cared for every step of the way before he takes the step God knows how to be the best friend Adam will ever need by giving Adam more than he asks. Eve has the best friend she could ever need because even before she was she was given her gifts just like Adam before He was. And it shows how carefully God made us to be so delicate and loving that even after Eve is deceived by the enemy Adam knowing full well what Eve has done decides to disobey his Best Friend for his new found love... God knew that would happen but He was ready.

I was at work and this all came to me in less than a second. I believe it a gift from God that I should share. :) Thank you Jesus for your love.

I wonder if this has anything to do with why humans fall in love, and get so attached to the other gender, and feel like their worlds are going to end when they break up. We weren't created to "break up".

The more I read the Bible the more I realize that God gave us a brain so that we could figure things out on our own too. Imagination is for problem solving and a little bit of dreaming but if we don't control it it'll go out of balance just like everything else we don't keep control over in our flesh. Without Jesus we would still be trying to figure the majority of this stuff out but because He came to save us from sin He gave us more understanding to handle these generations of vanity and adulterous behavior.

Its okay to ask God questions, so long as those questions are useful, answered by Him and His Word, and always remember to be patient.

Yeah breaking up or divorce is never part of the plan, one flesh for this life and if you really can't handle it then you're not listening to God's direction.

I don't think Adam wanted to be like God at all.. remember that was part of the serpents lie to Eve.. that God didn't want them to be like Him.. and that probably had nothing to do with it..
but who knows :)

I believe Adam was seeing all the animals in pairs (cause I am sure God created two of each.. )
and was like "hey, where's mine?" :)

I don't think Adam wanted to be like God either. I think that very statement is a paradox. That was the lie.

Genesis 3:4-5
Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

They already were like God.

Not in any way as God himself is I meant it as a son father love. I don't believe Adam wants to be God I mean it just as we want to be as the example of Christ, and remaining who we are wherever God's will places us. The more you follow the Bible the more you are like our Father, God.

But yes I do see both your points perhaps my thoughts on this are dwelling on considering Adam in that moment as a man as we are on earth but I have no idea of how Adam's thoughts were in that moment. I doubt he wanted to be paired as the animals were paired unless again his mind is as a man's of earth with his heart thinking of being of the earth but I don't know if in that point in time Adam's heart is fully in love with God: considering he had not met Eve yet I have to think God means Adam to grow through all of these experiences so his heart is where¿ I want to hear more Christian, Bible directed, thoughts please. :)
