What does GRACE mean to you?

To me it means the grace of God. God the father giving over his son Jesus as sacrifice to save us from our sins. Being born again we are now and always righteous through Jesus shedding his innocent and perfect holy blood. The focus is on Jesus and not on ourselves and how good we think we are or focusing on the Law and trying to keep the commandments. But rather just keeping our eyes on Jesus and knowing how much God the father loves us.

Grace is the unmerited favor of God. It is where God shows us mercy, kindness, and patience instead of the judgment that we deserve for sinning against Him. God's grace cannot be earned by our actions or sincerity. Grace is based on the character of God and not on our sincerity, performance, or ability to keep the law. Otherwise, grace would not be grace.

Rom. 11:6, "But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works, otherwise grace is no longer grace."

Gal. 2:21, "I do not nullify the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly."

2 Timothy 1:9, "who has saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was granted us in Christ Jesus from all eternity."

We grow by grace. We need the grace of Christ just as much after we came to Christ as we did when we came to Him.

1 Peter 1:13
[SUP]13 [/SUP] Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace being brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Acts 20:32 (NASB)
[SUP]32 [/SUP] "And now I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

2 Peter 3:18 (NASB)
[SUP]18 [/SUP] but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

whoever does what is right, is righteous. to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus is to fix our eyes on His perfect Law that Gives freedom, and doing it. james 1:22-25. Be not hearers of the word and deceive yourselves, do what it says. Grace is what makes us able to walk in His ways. Once we understand we are saved by Grace, and we are righteous in His sight because of Jesus. The validity of the righteousness we claim, is either evidenced in our lives, or it is not. righteousness means doing right on a consistant basis. Christ imparted His righteousness to us, if someone has faith in that fact, then their actions will be in step with the spirit of God, or the word of God, or Jesus Christ. we do not serve God in sin, we cant. the saved by works thing everyone argues, is silly really. Jesus makes it clear again and again do these things. the new testament, makes it clear, do these things. a few scriptures are the evidence and basis of all by grace no matter what we do were in forever.....that's Just a clever way for the enemy to oppose Gods Word, just like the Garden. Jesus Grace forgave who we were, sinners, enemies of God, but God Loves His enemies, He is kind to the ungrateful...because of this Love, while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Gods Grace is amazing, and it leads directly to LOVING Gods Word. Loving it His way. its not a hassle to do whats right, especially knowing that Jesus died to make us able and righteous. If we are the righteousness of God, shall we live as anything else? when Jesus words are actually taken into account. the atonement does not cancel out anything else, it is what makes man able to carry out the commands of God. God gave us righteousness, believe that part fully and obedience is natural, but ALWAYS and forever needs to be taught and spoken in a Christian setting. Because obedience Has always been the goal. We aren't "saved" to remain the same.....But to be transformed into the image of God. who Hates sin because its death and He is Life, righteousness is Life. Christ Jesus is everything including our teacher we are meant to follow. How does one jeep their eyes on Jesus if not His word?

Grace is Beauty, Salvation, our way of receiving God's blessings, unlimited love, unmerited favor, and righteousness through our savior Jesus Christ. It is not by works but by faith, by accepting Jesus as our savior who bore our sins through his suffering. Grace comes from God, and through his son Jesus, gives us Grace. We cannot let sin be our master, Grace has delivered us from it. We cannot let works and law be our crutch, Grace has delivered us from it. Grace is our entrance into paradise, Eternal life is by Grace through faith. GraceRevelation, I love you my Queen! <3

Mhm. Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

I can't speak for anyone else, but i'm SO glad that the Father gave us the opportunity to find the ultimate treasure in him.

Grace is also God's empowerment to live in the nature of Christ that we were given when we were born again..

Amen! God's enabling power operating sovereignly in the lives of believers.

1 Corinthians 15:10 - But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me did not prove vain; but I labored even more than all of them, yet not I, but the grace of God with me.

2 Corinthians 1:12 - For our proud confidence is this: the testimony of our conscience, that in holiness and godly sincerity, not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God, we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially toward you.

2 Corinthians 12:9 - And He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness." Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.

What does GRACE mean to you?
Grace to me means the active expression of the very essence of God Himself, embodied in and realized through Jesus Christ.

"Grace is realized through Jesus Christ" (John 1:17); the "grace of God was given to us in Christ Jesus” (1 Cor. 1:4); "The grace of God has appeared (in Jesus Christ), bringing salvation to all men" (Titus 2:11). We have an identity as Christians, participating in the resurrection-life of Jesus, only by the grace of God (1 Cor. 15:10).

Grace is a Spirit ..or better said The Spirit ..

Heb 10:29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?

Amen...and the Spirit of Christ is a part of this too. It's all interconnected as One and yet somehow distinctive . It's somewhat of a mystery too. This is why I say that grace and Jesus are the same thing. You can't have the water without the wet. Jesus is called the Truth. Grace and truth came by Jesus. I think it's impossible to separate them from each other.

Philippians 1:19 (KJV)
[SUP]19 [/SUP] For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,
