jimmy even when we agree with some people they will cause arguments with us

I love you being a good Christian and trying to befriend everyone
this isn't a dig at anyone but people have to accept friends

CC is the first time I've ever met someone who wouldn't be my friend regardless of what I said
apologies messages of love can all be twisted and thrown back in our face

Nonetheless and just the same you are inspiring for always caring

So on topic I really am thankful for men like Jimmy

I am unmarried, and therefore single. :) unavailable, but single.
Yeah, some folks around here are unmarried and unavailable to minors under 40. ...just saying. :D

As for the OP, I'm thankful to God for granting me mercy, redemption and for promising me eternal life. Thank You, Lord Jesus; forever You're Awesome! :D

Actually, brother, pretty much everyone eventually respected my request and moved the "single" topic to the new "how do you define single" thread. To everyone who did that, and to the admins/mods, thank you. <3
Ah, I see. Well, then, I cannot say anything against that.

Aww look at that we got a smile out of you! *hugs* I told you this before, brother, but I'll say it again here. I'm very thankful for you. You are relatively new-ish to the faith, but there is a hunger in you to learn more. I love that! You may not have everything right.. BUT neither does anyone else. As Christians we are all flawed because of sin, but our task is to pursue Christ every single day, and through that He will work in our hearts and make us all more like Him. I know I am nowhere near the example that Christ has set for all of us, but I press on toward the goal, just like Paul said in Philippians 3:14. :)

Keep pursuing Christ, my brother. May He consume your heart (and mine, and everyone else's) with love for Him and love for others! :)

lol ohhh iTore. *hugs*

Have I told you lately I'm super super thankful for you? You are not only one of the most incredible men of God I've had the pleasure of meeting, but your joy is contagious, and I'll never forget that you were one of the first people to reach out and make me feel really welcome here. :) I thank God for you!

Words are failing me here, and I never shut up.

Stop calling yourself a man while acting like a child. I see more of you stooping to lower and lower levels. This is not good.

Oh well if you hit the nail squarely on the head Jimmydiggs then you're bound to have detractors. It says more about them than you.

I'm grateful for a women who saw that I could be better than what I have been lately. That to me is exactly what Christ did with those who were looked down on.

I might suggest that you get to know somebody before you despise/troll/generally put them down and see where they're coming from before judging. I can always do this too of course.

*picks up thread, places it back on rails*

I am thankful for the wives at church who treat me like part of the family, whether it's as a brother or as a son.

I am thankful for my mom. I'm hard on her, she's hard on me...uh...LNF knows what I mean.

I am thankful for Jill, who was one of the first people to embrace me when everything went down two years ago. (She's not on CC.)

I am thankful for YOU, ladies...*snaps, points fingers like guns at the women on Singles all smarmy-like*...because youse guys is good company and you prove that not all hope is lost.

And to my special three, of which a day never goes by that we don't end up having SOME kind of group hoedown (conversations about Grey's Anatomy aside), thanks for keeping me real and honest...and LETTING ME be as honest as I need to be. A man's got to be able to say some things to someone OTHER than God sometimes, and it's nice to have a trio of women who are not going to condemn me for the problems with my flesh, and instead, uplift and support me. You da best, yo.

*drops mike, walks off*

What's wrong with Grey's? :p

I've just now saw this thread and I love it ....

Let me start.... I'm thankful for the following men:

1. My Dad first of all for helping create me...lol He is a grumpy man , but loves his family. He has worked hard for us year after year and has attended church with us which may not seem like a big deal , but it is when I look back at the 7 years we prayed he would get saved and come with us... Praise God the prayers payed off and I remember the morning he gave his life to the Lord.

2. My older brother Rick. I love him very much... he has a good heart and is always wanting to help others. He went from being a personal trainer to becoming a fireman because he felt he could better serve the community. I'm also thankful he and his wife have given me 3 handsome nephews and a beautiful niece who fill the void whenever I get sad that God hasn't seen fit to make me a wife and mother yet.

3. my future brother n law. Christopher gets on my nerves sometimes but I know he would fight for me . And he lets me punch his arm any time I feel the need to punch something :)

4. My wonderful friend Mark who found this site and begged me to come make a profile ..lol We haven't got to talk in a while and I miss him like crazy. He's been my crying shoulder more than once.

5. My wonderful awesome brothers here on CC . THERE IS HOPE !!!!! I had almost given up hope in the male race. You guys are awesome and spiritual and funny and easy going and I love you all. I have my favorites... but we wont go into that :p

6. Last and most definitely not least is my little brother Jacob. He was our surprise when I was 16. He almost died while being delivered...but God had different plans for this awesome little guy. We started at a young age feeding him scripture and by the age of 3 he knew over 100 Bible verses along with lots of other things like all his bones and planets..lol a super smart little guy. I prayed right off that God would save him at a young age and spare him a life of heartache due to living a sinful life. I was at home the day when he was 8 years old doing his Bible subject school work... He had to define the word repentance. God dealt with and broke his little heart about being a sinner. He told my mom.... " I'm a sinner and I have never repented of my sins... I am sorry that my sin put Jesus on the cross. " He cried out to God and ask him to save him . OH heavens ..you can only imagine the rejoicing that took place in my house that day. It was all from his heart. He is 13 now... since then I have walked past his room in the morning before he starts his school work and heard him praying and asking God to bless me with a good godly husband .. my heart breaks even as I write this... I'm so thankful for him. I love this child so much I cannot even explain . I get a blessing watching God work on his heart. He is wise beyond his years .

Sorry to get carried away there.. :)

Most of all I'm thankful for Jesus.

God is good ... and I am very happy

ok.. I'm done now.

I'm thankful for my Pastor who has been like a father to me and has set a wonderful example of what a godly man is to be. He has set such a high standard before me that I believe I could never marry again unless it is a man who loves God's word, lives it and desires to pass it on as well. Knowing him has made me very picky of what I'm looking for in a man, which is a good thing:).

I'm thankful that God made men very different than women. I love how they can come right to the point on a matter because God made their brains to beable to separate everything, where (not an insult) as women our brain, because of our emotional make-up is like a big ball of wire that our emotions tend to make everything all tied together. Men can come to the point long before we can. i feel as a lady this is a relief and blessing, a strong point to enjoy in a man.

I love the protective nature in a strong man of God. Automatically the femine part in me comes out when a man is protective and a gentleman. Love it, Love it, Love it!!!

Love when a man can become vulurable for a lady.. it's like they become a little boy inside again. So, cute.

Ladies, lets look at the good in men and enjoy the journey;).
