Yeah, well things got a little crazy in the kitchen as my honey was popping in the pizza into the oven. There is nothing like fresh-chopped vegies and various meats on top to get to whet your appetite. Basically, a frozen pizza but with my wife's loving touch. I'm not kidding, her stuff is better than Domino's. Just gave her a little 'hug' of appreciation, a loving touch of my own. The smoke detector did not go off during this episode even though it was hot stuff - the pizza. Maybe it was the pepperoni.

Disappointed so far that no one seems willing to share even a personal glimpse into how even an ordinary thing shared in a relationship can be an intimate and romantic encounter if your heart is open to that possibility, or if not currently in a relationship you imagine such an encounter happening. Even washing the dishes can be romantic as there are suds involved. Perhaps there is no one who is in a romantic relationship on this site or maybe the honeymoon is over and now the only thing to look forward to is taking out the trash. Even that can be a rewarding experience if that activity is shared with someone that you love. Maybe I'm just looking at things the wrong way, that could very well be because I am no expert on intimate romantic relationships. I did enjoy sharing the pizza that my wife made last night though. It was exceptional.

Emptying the trashcane could be so romantic for a man to do it to his love one every morning, or assisting in cleaning the dishes along while she's washes or does other chores in the kitchen. The thing is I dont have someone to flirt with atm Jerry Bro,

The thing about dogs is that they love you unconditionally, and don't give you any yap except for an occasional yip when it's time to go potty. My two dogs were Lilo and Stitch but they are gone now. Now I have two cats Tango and Sugar and they love me too.

Yes, you understand! These ordinary things are special if they are done out of love. N one to flirt with....hmmm....God whispered to me that He's working on that. He's romantically inclined. :)

Really, that is what this thread is all about. Above all else future spouses should be treated with dignity and respect, sharing the love that God has placed in your heart to share. It would be most interesting indeed to know how the members would treat their future spouse if it was God's will and desire for this to happen. I have learned one thing in my life though, it is best to let God search and find the one of your heart's desire but you have to be ready to act when the opportunity of a lifetime arises. I have great hopes for you that such a wonderful thing like this happens for you as you would make a wonderful wife.

When I was a late teenager I dated a Christian lady who lived 1 hour away viz., a drive in my fathers car - one direction. I would travel that each weekend and talk all week accordingly while dating her. We also went to the same Church so that was an added bonus in terms of meetings, and was amicable toward an even stronger Christian godly connection. Now this was the peak of my sexual drive years (as males go) so to be pure was a miracle - and yet God in my relationship with her empowered us with just such a miracle. The letters we wrote one another built a bond even beyond the heart of being there with one another so that when we were together we flourished in appreciation and thankfulness to God and each other. The kisses were passionate beyond words, even poetic in nature, while our halting remained amicable to our spirits calling as well.

This went on until our lives simply got separated due to circumstances, and in due process - others came into our lives and we went on to develop other relationships. She went off to college in another State here in the USA, and I too went on with my life where I was located. I went on to have many more beautiful women in my life after ... and to be honest all of them were more beautiful physically, yet it was that girl that I see as the real beauty. You see I say that because she was strong in the Lord, and she helped me be strong as well. We never dishonored God in our behavior, not always what I could claim later in my life , but in that window of time, I secured a place of remembrance I will never lose in terms of golden memories and eternal investments.

To me romance or love or passion is about devotion. My devotion to her in way of my devotion to God first was without blemish, and I and she built upon that rock a pyramid-like goodness that has travelled all the days of my life.

It is not about whether we were meant for each other and I missed it, for I knew even then, I loved her but God had other plans for her and in my love for her I let her go. And she - the same - in way of knowing God had plans for me that stemmed from another game plan He was preparing. But the point is I have never been more passionate with anyone including a 29 year marriage, than I was with a woman I never even had intimate relations with physically (outside of kissing) because I had placed the foundation in something that was never temporal; that being Jesus Christ Himself.

He is not only our godliness He is every detail in our life practically - our sexual fervency, then, as well. Thus, as we marry He is the statement and experience there as well. Leave Him even for a second for the pleasure of passionate physicality, even in a marriage I might add, and it is empty and temporal within our soul even when it gives us a seasonal pleasure.

Passion is built on devotion to God first and then each other second...and as we pay the price for devotion to those persons in that order we must realize we are not sacrificing anything despite its painfulness as a young teen boy in my storyline and an unmarried limited position sexually - we are building a lasting meaningful blessing God will grant us pure and everlastingly beneficial that we will cherish for allowing Him to build rightly so..from rock to pyramid and beyond.

I was passionate beyond words with this young lady from the past, who in the future in heaven will still be my Sister forever inasmuch as we place God first..and believe and receive His life for us.

I'll be honest with you Tourist - I sense this thread could be a pandoras box for many desirous statements we need not travel by way of experience, as certain people may voice devotion as explicitness. But I allow God to lead as He knows best. May God Bless His will in His people, as well - His people in His will. Passion need not be built from the outside in, but rather established from the inside out. I pray these testimonies reflect that then; as people honor God first.

We must be wise, like the snake, as we are also innocent, like the dove.

Did I make a good point to you? What point did I make again that you saw? I know I am getting older in my memory loss, but appease this old gentleman - "What, exactly would you censor? Explicitness?"

Just wanting to connect is all to what you mean.

That was simply an amazing LOVE STORY that you have related. Very passionate and intimate, and yes, romantic as well. Ironic in the sense that this most fulfilling relationship was never consummated, but remains rather poetic in nature.

A woman with the love of God in her heart is truly beautiful indeed and that which also transcends into physical beauty because, after all, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Without devotion there can never be true love for that is the beginning of romantic inclinations.

Perhaps most of us are victims of circumstance, and yet, with the grace of God we become more whole.

In heaven she will indeed be your sister, and yet, possibly more because we can only imagine what God has in store for those that love Him.

In one way or another the final chapter of this story has not concluded, there are still pages to turn and precious words yet to be written. It will be a must-read for sure. Probably a best seller.

You might very well be correct about Pandora's box but without the coarse expression how can we appreciate the fine? You are right about passion as well and pray as you do that all testimony that may be related honors God in its content.

Only these pages will tell.
