I always feel so very very unsure of myself in the wardrobe department. Like it's a foreign land and I'm blindly navigating. lol but I do manage to make it through on occasion.

The last few posts on here are two ladies complimenting each other on their looks (justifiably of course)
That's why men have it easy.. leave the ladies to natter and compliment amongst themselves while I read my paper and watch the soccer game, all we need to do now is train them to buy each other flowers and chocolates, then our work is complete

YES. I hate it. But I do it anyway, because...
My husband will only notice what I'm wearing if I for some weird reason put on a skirt/dress, or if what I'm wearing makes me look like a bum. BUT, all of the women in my family notice every stinking detail of whatever outfit I pick.
And they REMEMBER.

And it's not just clothing. It's word choice, shoes, make up, your decisions... Women are difficult creatures unless they're secure in Christ and let Him fix their lives. Y'all think I'm horrible now... you should have met me a decade ago, or even a couple years ago. I've come a looooong way.
MissCris, I couldn't care less what you wear, unless you're immodest.
Catlynn, you wear what's comfy and functional for you. If you want to change your dress code, then by all means, but don't feel you have to because other women judge you for it.
The opinions that matter are 1) God's opinion of you and 2) the opinion you have of yourself. If people's opinions of you matter, it's because you gave them that power.
