So I did read this (because I had some time :p )

Here's the gist. --->

Male microchimerism (MC) is the presence of genetic cells from another individual [male] distinct from the host individual [female].
MC could be responsible for the trigger of many autoimmune diseases due to a graft vs host reaction.

MC exists in most women who have been pregnant and they carry some of the fetal immune cell lines for life.


The conclusion of the paper released is as follows -

Male microchimerism was not infrequent in women without sons. Besides known pregnancies, other possible sources of male microchimerism include unrecognized spontaneous abortion, vanished male twin, an older brother transferred by the maternal circulation, or sexual intercourse. Male microchimerism was significantly more frequent and levels were higher in women with induced abortion than in women with other pregnancy histories.



So, this is a good incentive to avoid sexual immorality, because it does have consequences for your body [someone else's cells in your body for the rest of your life is kind of icky] .

However even if tomorrow a study came up that said, "Hey MC is really good for you and you will live longer etc ", I don't think we should give up on being sexually pure. We hold fast to His Word :)


The Bible tells us -


1 Corinthians 6:8

Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body.

Now I'm worried... I just checked and there is man DNA in my brain. Which makes sense, it's my own DNA in there. Quick, is there any cure?

I'm sorry, but there's no quick fix, you'll just have to outlive it:p;).

Yeah, I mean... with a husband there is no abortion for an unwanted pregnancy (so less risk via pregnancy), and at least there is only one other person's cells rattling around in there. But even then, there could be one other person's cells rattling around in there.


This explains a lot though. It explains how women can simply know when their husband is lying, or when their children are lying. Either that or it's the blatant attempt at lying which never works. Yes - she knows you went fishing, you're holding the tackle box in your hands, and no, she's not going to buy it when you tell her you were going to turn it into a jewelry box. The entire story just smells fishy.


It's not true chimerism though, that stuff is totally wacky.

Yeah, chimerism as presented here is balderdash. I would say what it really is but I don't use those words since I became a Christian. :rolleyes:

I mean it's not like someone who's got crazy DNA that can literally test differently depending on where blood is drawn or something - that's awesome.
