I personally am out in the world for school and working, which makes it so I encounter quite a few people. But I don't make it a habit to surround myself with worldly people and activities; only when necessary.

I use to pray and ask God to help me be a better witness to people. It was something I really desired to do. I always thought that sharing about the Lord was the only way to witness to people and I'm not necessarily someone who would do that unless I felt lead to. It wasn't until not too long ago that the Lord showed me that the biggest way I can witness to people, is simply living my life unto Him. I think that is incredible. So now my goal/focus is a bit different; I want to serve God and in doing that the bonus is others will most likely be watching. God can the speak to them through that. :)
I don't want to put you on the spot, and completely respect if you choose not to respond.

Would you answer change if you had to go way out of your way to act?

Hypothetically, if you had to choose between supporting (with money or time) an organization or going out and supporting a coworker who you know is struggling and could use God in his/her life, which would you choose?

Would you rather spend your resources making a huge difference in one persons life, or a small difference in many people's lives?
Small difference in many lives.

I like the idea that every small good deed I do can be a catalyst in someone's life and lead them to do bigger things for themselves, however if life presents an opportunity to be the big change in a persons life, then that's good too.

I'm confused. That video seems to be an example of the "one" response, why did you say "many"? :S
haha, yes, i put it because i think there are a lot of ppl that need something and not only one and we can do small things in the ppl that is around us like in the street

Alright, just so I'm sure I understand where you're coming from.

A hypothetical (similar to the one posed to KOS). If you had 15 minutes, would you rather spend 1 minute helping 15 old ladies cross the street (as an example from your video) or walking your unsaved (troubled?) coworker home and listening to/supporting her?

I don't think my answer would change at all really. I try to do whatever I feel the Lord leads me to do. If that includes actually going and seeking someone out then that is what I would do. If it meant contributing time or money to a cause, then I would do that also. I still think that is apart of the witnessing. I just think so far in my life, God wanted to show me not to try, but rather let the witnessing take place. I didn't mean for it to sound as if I would only live my life and have that as the witnessing. Being a christian and living unto God does include helping others. :) Hope that makes sense.

LightningClap0002: Not sure I answered which of the two I would choose...

I truly would do whichever I felt led to do and if I could do both then I would.

For what it's worth, thanks for expounding on your original post, it has been helpful! :)

I would pray to God show me what He wants me to do, some things take us more time to do than others that only take some minutes and make a big impact also, so i think that the decision is only on God but there are a lot of things to do everyday to many ppl.

I think I'm better designed to make a large difference in one person's live vs. a small difference in many.

I'll let the majority of the helpful types make the small positive differences in a lot of lives, then I'll do the dirty work of using a lot of energy to help one or even a hand full of people overcome some kind of huge obstacle. I feel like it's my calling somehow, but I'm not sure how.

Anyway, I believe if I for some crazy reason managed to make that big of a difference in anyone's life, I believe that by extension, it would make a lot of small differences for others that they knew. Like a chain reaction.

P.S. I see no reason why we couldn't do both.
