if we set our affections on things above not on the things of this world you just might find that receiving from God gets easier because solomon asked for wisdom not for riches he got both
it is safe to say that if our affections stay focussed on God and seek wisdom our perfect mate may also be granted, i believe solomon also got his mate ha ha seriously if we take care of Gods will he will take care of our desires once our desires our toward him i know this from word and experiance
if we tend to think on our selves how to get a mate how to make our life more pleasant and every thought is I I I I I I then we cant expect him to move on our part especially if we are going to love that mate more then him i made that mistake a long time ago when i was young and lonely
i am still very lonely but my thoughts now stay in control to be towards what is best for my spirit now
and to serve God with my whole heart
If we let lonliness dominate it will keep you on a not so close relationship with God
lonliness can keep us just as unfocused as drugs anger or any other fault
God does have that perfect mate for you but first you should become that perfect mate for JESUS amen
