In the summer of '13, I cruised up through California with a buddy, and we stopped to have burger with CatHerder. (He'll tell you all about it. Fun times.)

Last Thanksgiving, I hopped in the Miata, and got to spend some time with Catlynn, Duchess Aimee, and Grace-Like-Rain. It was awesome, and also, awesome.

This summer, I rolled through east Texas again and had a delightful Asian dinner with Misty77, who is a lot of fun. We're totally gonna hang again next time I visit my brother.

Thanksgiving approaches again. My extended family in the Baltimore/Washington area wait with baited breath. (My family is in Bel Aire, MD...although it's possible we may crash with my cousin in Manassas, VA.) Plane tickets from Saturday-to-Saturday have already been purchased. My old college buddy in DC has...well, I haven't contacted her yet, but I will. It's nice to catch up with her every couple of years.

But what about YOU, intrepid CC Singles member in the general vicinity of the Baltimore/Washington metropolitan areas? (Are there any regular forum members around BWI? I actually do not know.) I love meeting CC people, even if it's just for a cup of coffee and a little bit of fellowship. If you're in the BWI area, and you're not leaving town for Thanksgiving, I'd love to hang out with you. You don't have to respond here; you can PM me. Let's figure something out, and see if we can hang out.

Seoulsearch, you know you're next, right? I mean, you're only a half-day's drive away. Just sayin'. Spring break, yo.

I don't even know anyone in that area. But if you're ever in West Tennessee give me a holler.

"Danger, Will Robinson!!!"

I always appreciate a good warning first. I only skin and stuff the people who show up unannounced... :D

Shour, you are welcome anytime.

Just leave the rice cooker at home.

Deal? ;)

Came into the thread all excited for Shour because I thought BWI meant that he was traveling to the British West Indies.

Too bad we all have these petty annoyances like schedules and limited money...a CC Caribbean meet up would be cool!

Naw, them's mountains over there. Over here we got hills, and in between the hills is hollers. And on a quiet day you can stand on a hill and see a friend on another hill, and you can holler across the holler to him. Clear?

Hey Shour, here's a shout-out from someone who is right next door to the place you are visiting. It would be nice if you could drop in here on your way to Baltimore. :)

Ever get a whiff of moonshine from down in one of those hollers? I used to get a whiff now and then walking to school when I lived in Kentucky many years ago......when I much younger.....

Can't say I have. But the boys that do that kinda stuff probably know how to hide it better around here than up there. ;)

Yep .. As you approach Baltimore, you need to take a turn on the junction where you have all the shops. From your direction, you need to take a right. And then just proceed straight until you reach Wal-mart. You can either take a right (and then a left) for a beautiful drive, or keep driving straight. In less than a mile you will reach a police station. Give me a ring and I will guide you to my place. :)

The irony of these directions is that...you probably COULD follow these directions in any major US metroplex, and successfully "proceed straight until you reach Walmart." ^_^
