clearly you have not spent much time in a closed off room with a seriously stinky teenaged boy. i have to do youth group every friday night and there are some major offenders. i wouldn't say it's WORSE than too much of an awful spray but it's at least on par. there is no lesser evil.

obviously i should have done multi-quote....i keep finding more to comment on.....
I never said I like body odor! I hate any bombardment of anything on my senses. I just chose what I did as worse because when the naturally stinky people leave, the smell leaves after a few minutes. Perfume doesn't always leave. My mom runs a business at her house, and she's had customers who come over wearing old lady perfume. And not only does the scent fill the room, but the scent lingers in the air, sometimes for 24 hours or more after they're gone. o_O How the heck does that even happen?? lol

Oh and if they sit on any furniture of yours, your couch will smell like their perfume for several days.

Ahahaha XD the title really made me laugh, maxwell. No offense XD

Nope, deo won't be the solution. It just adds to some charm (who wants to stick around someone that smells...unpleasant, or even consider hugging them and such? Unless their nose has a defect, but that's quite rare, unless traumatically induced XD).

It's about how a guy takes care of himself. Personal hygiene. Deo would be useless if the guy doesn't get a decent bath everyday (and i mean not just standing in front of hot water. Like really soaping and scrubbing every part, specially the crevices where sweat and dead skin accumulate: armpits, neck, groin, flexure areas, and such) If not cleaned properly, bacteria and even fungus could grow there, causing the unpleasant odor. No amount of deo could rectify that. A clean skin looks and feels and smells great, even without deo :).

Next, build that body. You don't have to be brawny and all muscular, just physically fit. Get to walking and exercising daily. It builds your confidence as you see your body improving, and quite a social exercise too. It brings you outdoors, and you could meet a lot of people as you go along.

Finally, a solid and intimate relationship with GOD. Fill your everyday with prayer and meditation of HIS Word. Feel secure in HIS love and HIS awesome plans for you. If you know you are so dearly loved by GOD, and that you're on your way to becoming the best that you can be 'coz HE is working on you daily, you've just found the ultimate source of confidence and peace you could ever have :) plus HIS light shining through you as you are filled with HIS joy and presence will surely catch the eye of many ladies, specially the woman HE has made for you :D see for yourself! But believe me, the ultimate reward is simply getting deeper with the LORD. Everything else is just a bonus :) I've discovered this just recently, and i am blown away by Papa GOD's love. I hope you find what i have found in HIM.

God bless you with a deeper growing relationship with HIM!!! :D may HE grant you the very desires of your heart!!
Alright, let me see if I've got this.

To be more charming for the ladies I need to:

1. scrub with soap
2. lift weights
3. pray

I had no idea it was so simple.
I'll get right on that.
: )

Huh. Been doing all three of those for the last year and a half. And the first two for the past decade.

*looks at the other end of the couch*

Nope. Still single.

Women have often told me I smell of rich dark chocolate and would like to have just one nibble of me.

A guy that I used to have a huge crush on walked past me with a group of friends and stopped. Without a word he leans down and smells my hair. He told me that I smelled like chocolate. I held up my Starbucks cup and told him it was a mocha. He looked me directly in the eye and said, "No, it's you." And he walked off.

If you see your local witch, they will have the ingredients you require for said quest. You probably wouldn't want to know what they have to do to it to be drinkable. If it somehow comes back looking like Powerade don't be shocked. :p
I used to be the local witch, and love potions are easy to make, but an AMAZINGLY bad idea. The intent has to be pure and … I'm gonna stop there. Nuns, (which is totally a BA name, btw) I know you're kidding. :p But for those of you who know my story, you know I'm not. Cheers.

I start off making some jokes about deodorant,
and before I can bat an eye, people are all confessing their past and stuff...

I never realized deodorant was so powerful.

It's not the first time I've confessed it to the forum. Some people handle my past well, some have told me I'm forever lost.

Deodorant is very powerful. Like love, it covers a multitude of sins.

Truth. Let it melt into your car seat and your car will smell powdery fresh for months.

I've never heard your story before, Duchess. Don't listen to the haters.

My ex used to keep a deodorant in the glove compartment of my car and another one in the glove compartment of his truck. He always smelled good, and he never used the spare ones he kept in the cars. He was… yeah, nevermind.

The bible teaches we're supposed to be clean on the inside.
It teaches we're to be beautiful on the inside.
It teaches we're to be appealing, and attractive, on the inside.

So do I need deodorant?

Shouldn't I just trust God, and go out into the world with my natural smell?

Shouldn't I just trust God to bring me a girl whose nose doesn't work?

Shouldn't we all?

Shouldn't Christian women learn to appreciate the natural smell of a man who hasn't bathed for a week?

Or...

Will deodorant buy me love?
2Co 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
