I'm just afraid of everything and i know that when i gave God then i shouldn't be afraid, but looking at all the bad things that are happening in the word and to my close friends. I'm just paralyzed by fear. Terrible thjbg is that next fall I'll be in university and I'm afraid that bad things might happen to me there or i will just depart awat from God. The truth is that i can't praise God in midst of storms because I'm not strong enough to do so, and for once in my life, it would be good for good things to happen to me for atleast a week. I don't know. I guess I'm selfish for thinking of something like that. I wish i was a strong Christian but i am just the opposite. Even though i have a creator who wants me to trust in Him, i have failed to do so and now from dusk to dawn fear has taken over me....

Anxiety is no fun and sometimes when we have done everything possible by our own actions and in prayer, we are still left with fear of the unknown.

One of my testimonials may help. Here is the link below.

Anxiety has been a long hard battle for me but it does get better as you learn about it and prepare for situations to limit anxiety.

Remember your not a bad Christian but only human. The disciples of Jesus feared quite often but Jesus was only refining them or preparing them faith to faith.

Everyone has fears and many other problems, you are not alone in this. But the believer in Christ has a solution, a hope based on the the Word of God and the development of the "mind of Christ". This is not a quick solution, it takes time and commitment. You grow in faith and spiritual strength in a three step process:

1. Learn the Word of God, through consistent study under the teaching ministry of a faithful pastor.
2. Believe the Word of God, as you combine more and more truth from God in your soul.
3. Apply the Word of God, to your life and thinking; combat your fears and problems by believing and applying the truth you know.

So the most important decision you or any other believer can make is to make learning the Word of God the priority of your life. This is where you start. As you build truth in your soul belief and application naturally follow. All of this takes time. It doesn't happen over night. Be patient with yourself, you are combating all the lies and distortions you have heard since you were born. But the most important thing is to decide to make the Word your priority for life.

Fear is not from God, it is from the enemy. Step out in faith and banish that fear.
