Something which bothers me are the numbers of new age type, pagan and occult shops,
which have sprung up. There are even some witch craft shops. Of course they don't
advertise themselves as such, they advertise their goods as home furnishings, mind
body and soul tranquillity trinkets etc.

They give me the creeps, even just walking past them makes me feel weird they have a
underground cave like oppressive atmosphere to them. I know that sounds odd but it's
how I feel when I walk past them.


This is the sort of thing I mean. They tend to sell things like dream catchers, Christals, pentagrams, wooden and
stone gargoyle like statues, buddhas, etc.

There is one shop which I have seen that sells wooden models of hares, owls, rabbits, foxes, I'm sure such things are
connected to pagan practises about the summer and winter solstice.

They never state who they are in the shop, but sometimes when you look on line they advertise themselves as healing
and spiritist shops.

I dont want anything to do with them or anything that they sell. You never see them selling crosses!

I haven't read the book but the article is indeed interesting. If all of it is true, her background is questionable.

No curse is more powerful than Jesus. But theres laws in the supernatural relm. if you give something a right to come in and be there by putting it on you or in your house, its allowed to stay until it looses its right and you get rid of it.
Now the protection of Jesus comes in when a witch wants to curse you. A curse without cause cannot hit. So you will not be affected by it unless theres a gap. And the only reason it doesnt hit you unless theres a gap, is because of Jesus.
People who dont have Jesus are completely open and get hit by it all. I feel bad for em.

Theres no good reason holding on to something that bothering you so yea just throw it away. Rebuking comes into place is something follows you without a reason and has no right. Which happens a lot that demons follow people to wait and see if they can get a door open in their life to enter. When you notice that, you can rebuke it and it has to go. Or family curses, break the curse and rebuke who held it in place.

I think it's good to share for the sake of awareness and exposing evil. After all, giving an account of it is not the same as encouraging it.

People should know what they're doing, and it has to be revealed to them at some point for them to know.

There are many such biblical verses which say what Demi said, but in a different way.
She did refer to Jesus so I don't see a problem. There are far too many Christian who
are completely unaware of the spiritual world which surrounds us, or of the victory
we have in Christ.

As for none christians many don't believe in God any way, but they get drawn into
the occult from everything they see on TV and the practises of the world.
Not to mention the whole mindfulness stuff going around which is based on
Hinduism! So the more people know and understand how harmful these things are,
and how Jesus has overcome all, then the better.

Its a subject which often gets swept under the carpet as if it doesn't exist.
The focus should be on Jesus agreed, but in this case ignorance is not bliss
its very harmful.

There's some excellent understanding in this thread about the Spiritual realm and how it can effect physical objects. Especially the post about shamans and voodoo priests cursing objects. Discernment is required in our walk with God, hence why we are instructed to live according to the spirit.
New age occultists, voodoo priests, witches are all exercising themselves in spiritual things, how much more should we? (Talking to myself here too) Having ourselves, by reason of USE, excersing our senses discern both good and evil. Hebrews 5:14.

I tell you, these occultists who have trained themselves in demonic spiritual matters can discern Christians when they see them, even when we aren't discerning, knowing this from experience.

I remember a while back now, a friend of mine visited a friends child in hospital and a random woman walked into their room and offered the child a stuffed toy, he didn't feel right about the toy so he politely asked to take it. When he came home, he called me to his car and the moment it came to my sight when he pulled it out of the boot, something hit me in the spirit and I was taken back. He explained to me what happened and my reaction confirmed his suspicion and we destroyed it. There was nothing physically alarming about the toy, but spiritually there was.

It all comes to them.I remember when I was into the occult I saw every person and I knew exacly whos christian, whos weak, whos strong, whos doubting and had a perfect picture of how to get that person to crumble. People often underestimate the enemy. I love the testimony of this French guy and the prophecy guy God showed me what happened in my life was exactly what happened to him he didn't Go to a satanic church or read a satanic bible or maybe not initially a demon appeared before him he was instantly given knowledge just so ppl know my Grandad is a free mason very high up and I'm in the female line one ofthe youngest there has been at least 4-5 different witches or warlocks that either talked with or came into my life the first one I hate quite a bit but I'm not sure maybe its more her past sin that I hated . innocent christian girl and these people messed me up and that's that ex warlock guy on prophecy club story to people had set him up , into his life. Each person has different struggles, if magic themes affect you negatively then do stay away. Personally, I'm a huge fiction lover and an anime fan, but like i said, what's just some entertainment for me could be a sin for you.
