umm well i like any type of christian music but ive been really liking christian rap and r&b lately because they seem to have alot of deeper and theological messages. some of the artist i like are

Hey im new my name is jesse, just recently became a christian im bornagain. there is alot of talk about what kind of music every one is into and theyr claiming to be christians. well alot of this music you like is not of Jesus. The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Pink FLoyd, Jimi hendrix, Bob Marley, AC/DC, ozzy osbourne, black sabbath, iron maiden, metallica, do you realy think that these are singing praise to the lord? I can relate because before i was saved i used to like listnening to every one of these bands and learning there songs, i play guitar. then when i was saved i just through all my cds away.
im not trying to offfend any one onll show them the truth. REALY!!! next time you are listening to there songs pay close attention to what they are singning about and dont get raked in by there nice voice and there catchy tunes. Wake UP

Sufjan Stevens (Folk/indie. He is a Christian but not all his songs are "worship" songs, per se. Probably his most Christian-oriented album is "Seven Swans." It's epic.) My favourite song by him-> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aSec9TaXHas It's based on Matthew 17.

Matisyahu (Hip-hop, reggae, rap, and rock all mixed in to one. He is Orthodox Jew, so while his lyrics aren't "Christian" per se, I really enjoy them anyway.)

That's some. I like most music. I spent most of my early teen years being a huge metal head. I was really into death metal, and some screamo, I spent a lot of time and money going to tons and tons of metal shows. I still listen to metal sometimes, but not often, it doesn't really "speak" to me anymore. I really like folk and acoustic music, and some hip-hop, and reggae.
