The lure of the dark-side is strong. Be vigilent against it, young Padawan...

Tough stuff, I have had a lot of experience with a few of these things and it's really difficult for me to talk about. My advice would be to get help as soon as you can, and stick with it for as long as you can.

There is a lot of shame and difficult feelings that come with this sort of stuff, I know. But you are not alone. And if you find someone who you can talk to; someone who will listen, then their is a very large weight that is taken off of you when you realize that someone does care, and someone does understand, and someone is willing to help you. Hang in there buddy.

Me too. It was the worst months of my life. And its so strange, because none of my friends would ever expect it, becuase I am such a *happy* person...but yea, when I finally got out of that whole my life was so much better. It was only by the Grace of God that I'm over that.

starwars isnt a joke either. the fate of the universe rests in the balance.

but for real that kind of stuff is a personal problem of being to caught up in yourself.. everyone ive talked to who is hurting themselves or comtimplating suicide is caught up in themselves and cannot look to see who around them it effects.. its just being selfish.
thats my take on it.

yeah, when i went thru it i was pretty caught up in myself. but at the same time my friends were going thru things and i couldnt help them, and when i tried to they ignored me, so i hurt for them as well and i felt awful about myself cuz i couldnt help them out and i felt alone cuz they ignored me! so it is diff with everyone. but yes, it does get pretty selfish sometimes.

Been there done that, it's a serious issue. It's not always being caught up in oneself either, there's many things it could be. People don't truly fully understand unless they personally go through it. I'll be praying for everyone, and trust me God can and will deliver! *hugs to all those suffering or who knows someone suffering from this issue* btw, I know I'm not a teen anymore....but yeah, just wanted to share.

i don't go through it, and yeah it's true i totally can't fully understand it, because i haven't had the personal experience....but a good friend of mine has experienced it, and it made her pretty much miserable, and she would try to avoid it and say it wasn't a big deal but you could tell it was just filling her with more pain, and more doubt about God, and people for that matter because.....well we wont get into all that. But personally, I can't relate, but i can only take a third/second person point of view to it....

Yeah its a really hard life. I always wish I hadn't made that first cut. It's just hard and you don't always want to talk about it is the sad part

well what helped me stop cutting was realizing that it didnt do any good I mean i had problems so i hurt myself, and after i hurt myself they were still there. and i just felt even worse about myself and life. so it just hurt more than it helped. also i talked to my youth pastors wife and close friends about it. and sometimes when i wanted to cut I would draw a cross on my left wrist in ink to remind me that i dont need to cut cuz God is there to take care of me. [thats the reason behind my tattoo] he already shed his blood to save me so there is no need to shed my own trying yo save myself. also i realized suicide was very selfish. i mean you just take away a gift that God gave the world. by doing that you tell God that he didnt do a good job and that the world he made isnt good enough for you. and you dont know who you could have helped and shared God with.
so yeah... thats basically what i thought during my dark times... i hope it helps. oh! and a verse that helped me out a lot is 1 Corinthians 10:13.

yeah....but i have struggled with kind of a different darkside...i mean it's nothing like injuring myself physically in any way, more like emotional......but anyway, if anyone wants to talk about anything i'm here lol. i know like everyone says that but i like to minister by listening :)
