Sorry about submitting more than one response, but this is genuinely hard and depressing.

My best friend is...a Muslim.

*Shocked gasps in the audience*

Yeah, I know...a Christian and a Muslim hanging out. How unusual.

Anyway, another really difficult thing for me is accepting the most hideous fate of my dear best friend. We were seperated from each other (in a physical way. I moved) more than a year ago. We still connect with each other via WhatsApp and still hang out occasionally during the holiday. She had it all. She is fun, loving, and a very rare female gamer. I really like her.

That's why I was flabbergasted when I found out that all people who weren't Christians were going straight to hell. That means I will make it out with my soul still intact, but she won't. Her destiny is to rot in hell, screaming in agony for eternity...and there was very little I could do about it.

Why?

Well, you see, I am not an evangelist. I am not good at evangelism at all. Also, if I tried to convince her, that could end VERY badly. She could be rejected by her family. She could even be charged of apostasy. The consequences are near endless. I don't want to ruin her life in the process, but I don't know how not to.

All I can do is enjoy the relatively sparse days we have together until her inevitable brutal end...sorry about the long post, but I just want to get that out there.

Mercifully, we are not called upon to decide if people are bound for heaven or hell, and we are not called upon to present the gospel perfectly; we are merely called to witness, the rest is in God's hands.

I have muslim friends...fact is that my best friend is satanist lol. And worse, my boyfriend is an odd kinda catholic agnostic ..i have no idea
Its no shock for christians to be friends with ppl from other religions.
now the only thing we can do is pray. We do have the obligation to tell the truth of the gospel, no matter what. That is a commandment sister.
I dont know about your friends family so I cant say a lot. I just hope and pray for Christ to come upon her and her family so they may be saved

The hardest thing was having a parent who confessed to be a Christian and went to church but was verbally and sometimes physically abusive. When I was old enough to go to a different church I did (local church bus would come through my neighborhood). Later on I remember telling God that if how my parent served Him was a Christian, then I didn’t want to serve Him. But as time went on I would wonder if God really knew me. Then one day my world came crashing in and I knew enough cry out to God. He answered and I started going to church with my best friend.

Also because I had children, if they ever rejected Jesus, I did not want to be the reason, so I asked Him to make my salvation real in me. And God did just that and I been living for Him ever since.

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” Jer. 1:5

Striving to feel loved by family and working 24/7 for acceptance, also, having to hear people complain about how much their mom worries about them and wishing my mom would do the same
I have a book you should really read. no need to try to earn anyone's loved...you're a pretty decent human and don't need to kill yourself to gain love or approval from your family.

My grandpa...who was basically my dad....died the day before I turned 13. I'd already seen a decent amount of trouble but that sent the next few years into a downhill spiral of stupid choices. To me the hardest thing about being a teenager was/is finding out who I am/was. Finding my identity in Christian and accepting myself for how He sees me. The temptations are rough, life isn't easy, people are stupid...but I really think if we can find out who we are in Him then all the shortcomings of people just don't matter as much.

The hardest thing for me was having to leave my teenage years behind as more responsibility came upon me because of aging into the world around me.

Thoughts I want to be rooted in love or if I am already , knowing God has my back and loves me . #some ppl when they have entered the kingdom the fight continues a wee bit after just so that God knows we are trustworthy with his call etc - not referring to dieing and going to heaven here just my situation tonight. And I've got to really be careful what I say when I'm in this pain. God is in control he is good so good love you daddy big ups to you!

Being a teen is sometimes a rough lot. What is/was the hardest thing about being a teenager for you, and how do/did you deal with it?

(I'll answer in another post).
Coping with my parents

As a teen I find it hard to be an actual teen. Like, I fail to recognise the topics that my classmates usually discuss relevant...
How I deal with it is... I sometimes read books that discuss the same matters... err...not really much of a help though but it kinda helps...
