Hello! I am a youth leader of an extremely small youth group in Denver. We are Indonesian so there are a lot of adult members, but there are only 8 of us in the youth group. I honestly do not care for the numbers, but the holiness, relationship w God, and I care for how I want to reach more souls. Our vision and mission is to reach more souls, but out of 8 members, only 2 of which care to work to bring more to God (and we’re both leaders). These kids have SO much fire within them, but they don’t do anything about it. They would rather play games and act like they didn’t read announcements for gatherings, so that they wouldn’t have to go to a gathering. Once a breakthrough happens, it lasts for a few weeks and they don’t make an effort to keep it. I, as someone who is spiritually responsible for them, don’t know what to do. I care for them as my own and I don’t know how to get them to realize that they need to change themselves for God. Thank you!!!! advice is appreciated

Hi and welcome to CC :). Brother, if you're teaching these youth the word of God from the Bible, praying for and with them, showing them love, there's not much more you can do. After a point, everyone needs to work out their own relationship with God, in their own timing. We can only teach and pray.
