I realized something yesterday when I was doing housework. I know that we have tons of verses in the Bible that talk about not being lazy, and often the result of that is having to hastily blast through whatever we were supposed to do at the last minute. If it’s something important or life altering, other things have to go by the wayside for that time. This includes time spent with God.

My thought therefore is that God doesn’t want us to be lazy not just because we end up suffering in whatever we need to do, but we suffer spiritually as a result as well.
