Please what are the practical steps I can take to become disciplined? Like really disciplined with my time? It's really a big challenge for me at this time of my life...
I know I need to pray for God's grace and help to be disciplined, but after the prayer, how can I back up my faith in God helping me with my actions?

• Discipline in the Area of my Spiritual life/Walk with God
• Discipline in the area of my academic life
• Discipline while using the social media and with my phone generally

These are the areas I really need discipline at this time...

And then a request/favour please...
If it's possible someone who can volunteer to help me be accountable (It's a sensitive and tasking request but I'd really appreciate it if someone can.) Thanks...

I think I've written something a bit close to this on CC before...

I'm looking forward to getting counsel from you all, Thank you...

I think reducing social media or even eliminating them, if possible, really helps. Even when I had FaceBook, I decided not to use other social media like Instagram, etc. since I would waste more time. I got rid of FaceBook in part because I was wasting a lot of time there. Now, I only really have LinkedIn (for professional reasons) plus CC.

I'm not sure this will so helpful for you, but I hope it will be encouraging. You seem very passionate to reach a certain ideal in your relationship with the lord, and honestly I am improving in the very things you've mentioned. This reminds me of the Mary and Martha story, there's a lot of plans that needs to be accomplished and you desire help from your family in Christ.

Luke 10:38-42
English Standard Version

38 Now as they went on their way, Jesus[a] entered a village. And a woman named Martha welcomed him into her house. 39 And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet and listened to his teaching. 40 But Martha was distracted with much serving. And she went up to him and said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me.” 41 But the Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, 42 but one thing is necessary.[b] Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her.”

I wish I could tell you what you could do and how to do it best for you, and in normal circumstances, ( like in Christian life coaching situations). Please seek the Holy spirit testing the spirits, but I believe seeking the lord first as a priority would be the most beneficial for you at this moment. I believe life coaching is beneficial, after you had your conversation with the lord about your identity and your calling. After you prioritize the Lord leading you first ( so you don't fall in a trap of making others an idol for what's the ideal for you ) reaching a Christian life coach maybe beneficial if the lord wills that for your situation.
-
Now if your saying you have absolutely no time to pray to seek God for your identity and you call, you have to sacrifice something to prioritize the Lord. Maybe talk to the Lord before bed, or get up a bit earlier than normal to ask God what does he want, what is his will is for you, what does obeying him look like for your situation, etc..💛✨🐿 blessings

I wish you the best :p I hope this was somewhat encouraging. Just a fellow sister in Christ trying to help lol

Perhaps it will help to simplify things. Rather than have 3 different areas of life to be disciplined, have one area of discipline with many aspects.

Matthew 6:33...Seek ye first...

Learn what this means and see how the different areas of life can be conformed to this.
How does spiritual discipline help me seek God? How does my pursuit of academic achievement fit in the kingdom of God? How does my use of social media promote righteousness?

When I was in college a group of us were going to go out and enjoy an adult beverage. I stopped by one friend's room and invited him. Without looking up, he asked the question...Of what eternal value will that serve?
I didn't answer his question. But neither did I forget it.

It's just that the struggle is though for me...
But I'll talk to God, spoken to Him though, but I'll keep telling Him till things turn around for me...
Thank you 🙂

In seeking God's Kingdom first, everything other thing begins to align...
Thank you 🙂

I have the same issue as well. My advice is to wake up early and complete the tasks you want to do for your goals first. You then have it done already before most people even get up. Focus on 1 goal at a time or a simplified version of each. Measure it by 3 months instead of 12. This makes you start immediately, but also allows you to achieve your goals faster bc they're smaller.

Books: Slight edge, 12 week year, and miracle morning
