1 Peter 4:1-4 Idols: This is my account on what I have seen and learned as a Christian. What is normal for us is not normal for what we are taught, by what we should consider our culture, our food, and our life. When we prepare each day to set apart time for our hobbies and our entertainment and believe that coincidence does play a role and it is not always God who is in control. When we become ill do we think of probability or ask our Father first what is His plan? When we sit down to play do we ask God what is His plan? When we lose and consider luck before God and ask what is Your plan Father, for me, as your servant, your son/daughter?

2 Corinthians 4:2-4: We know full well what we must do but even the word of God out of love repeats it all over the Bible itself because when you love someone you will repeat the lesson, you will forgive them, and you will try to make things as simple as possible without taking away what, out of love, they deserve: choice.

Luck is a false god.

All hobbies and/or personal interests are an idol when you knowingly pursue them over God. Why do we love the world so much that we are willing to argue what is important next to being saved by God and remaining at His side in all things we do? Romans 8:37 :D Put our Lord and Savior first where He put you first! In His Life! Please brothers and sisters :) Let Him always be your conscience! Let Him always be your father!

[h=3]Proverbs 16:33[/h]New Living Translation (NLT)

33 We may throw the dice,[a]
but the Lord determines how they fall.

[h=4]Footnotes:[/h]
  1. 16:33 Hebrew We may cast lots.

I'm personally struggling with this in my life.. I constantly waste my time trying to please myself and always walk away miserable. Please pray for me brothers and sisters, and I pray God's blessings over you. May your lives be fully devoted to the Lord, filled with joy and peace.
