One Of These Days JESUS Will Show Up. Are You Prepared?
For it is written, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into Heaven? This JESUS, who was taken up from you into Heaven, will come in the same way as you saw Him go into Heaven (Act 1:11).”
How foolish to neglect the coming of JESUS. How foolish to neglect this inevitable coming of JESUS CHRIST our LORD. How foolish to neglect the preparation necessary for this inevitable coming of our LORD JESUS.
For it is written that we shall render an account on the Last day. What have you been living for? What are you prepared to die for? The Bible says, ‘If you are prepared to die, you are prepared to live.’ Judgment will reveal. A time for judgment is a time for giving account of the deeds done while in the body.
One thing we must know-that only comes to HIM that comes from HIM. Everything we have actually comes from GOD. HE is the Creator of all things. The Bible says in Luke 12 that what you’ve accumulated will be taken from you when you have material riches but are not rich in your relationship with GOD.
The poor should not concentrate on their poverty.
The rich should not concentrate on their wealth because treasures on earth have their habit of disappointing their owners, as they don’t offer permanent security. Only treasures stored up in Heaven are permanent and secure. They retain their value because they are under GOD’S own security.
This is the problem we are facing today. We base our relationship with GOD on prosperity or the situation we find ourselves in, and satan knows this. That is why he uses it as a bait. Many fail to realize this and are busy amassing treasures here on earth, running after money, not minding the source. Nothing is too great to sacrifice or destroy to acquire it.
Many will arrogate all honors to themselves rather than to GOD-that is, considering self before GOD. Many will plan for tomorrow without thinking of others, without including GOD in their decision, thereby being constantly guilty of the sin of arrogance and self-sufficiency.
Whatever we think we have, whoever we think we are, whatever we think we can do; we should remember that we are mere toys in the Hand of Fate-a mist, smoke that quickly vanishes.
It all came from GOD to share with others. We should be careful not to boast in our fortune or in what we can do.
