I've come to the conclusion that they are not Christian at all. And I don't mean like they think they are, but they don't act on it. I really think their sole purpose is to put this huge negative spotlight on Christianity. Almost like they are tools of the devil himself.
They get more media coverage than anyone else, so of course people are going to use them as a model and assume that we're all like that.
Have you ever noticed how they almost always say 'your Lord, your God' or something like that. They very very very very rarely refer to him as theirs.
Or how they just light up when someone gets upset with them or calls our Christianity in general.
And let's be honest, the only followers are basically the family itself. Even the most radical, abortion clinic bombing Christians don't want anything to do with them.

I could go on, but you get the idea.
Does anyone else agree or am I just crazy? Lol

I'd like to burn them and all their members at the stake for the upright disrespect they show our fallen heroes.

Burning at the stake isn't entirely a new thing for some. :p

Personally, I suspect the WBC is a bunch of trolls. They're registered democrats, and he ran for governor of Kansas as a democrat in the 80s. I bet there's a lot of reverse psychology going on with them.

The Church's relationship with the Muslims. "The plan of salvation also
includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst
whom are the Muslims
; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and
together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind's judge on the last
day."

John 14:6Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one
comes to the Father except through me.

Who do you trust?

I question the means of the Westboro Baptist Church in terms of the harshness I see in
some of their signs etc. I do however applaud them for their taking the message of laying
one's life on the line for the corruption of a nation as being also misguided.

Before the Revolutionary War that founded this country, taking the nation away from the
British (and the British mindset we have again today), the enlistees sent to General
Washington a list of concerns. This list later became the Bill of Rights, which today have
been perverted by the misapplication of the 14th amendment to say that 'Freedom'
means the right to do anything that anyone wants.

The military today is a volunteer system. What are people volunteering for: abortion,
illegitimacy, homosexuality, divorce, Hellenism, Baal Worship, Idolatry, Materialism,
Hedonism, Federal Spending without limit, Environmental Destruction, World Trade,
Globalism, Government controlled schools and Churches, a She-ite nation? ...

What would our founders think of this nation today? If that's what one lays their life on
the line for - it is a choice we should help to make more informed - it could start in the
High Schools and at the Recruiters Office perhaps, Before Enlisting, just as when this
country was founded.

May God awaken a nation's men and women to the will of God and the Path of The WAY to
salvation.

Just reading the title made me want to vomit.:)
I visited their site days ago, because I was curious, and they are NOT christians. They even criticize other baptist churches lol. It's like they have their own religion. They proudly preach the Hate Gospel, they say that God doesn't love everyone and call that the biggest lie of satan . Sounds like blasphemy to the Holy Spirit to me.
What made me most upset and angry about them is that they have a counter of people going to hell while you are visiting the site .:( They are nothing but a stumbling block for other believers and even more for unbelievers trying to turn to God.
P.S:
I pray that God change their hearts and liberate them from satan.

They are just down right crazy, as Christians we are to show compassion and love for our brothers and sisters like Christ did and they are not even in the least bit compassionate they just go around calling people "FAGS" all the time and telling them that they will be going to hell because they are faggot lovers and enablers.i hope they will find the light soon because they will be going to hell if they dont get over their self righteous behaviour and humble themselves.

They're nuts. I listened to the head of the church (a woman) being interviewed on the radio and still think they are nuts. The only call themselves baptist because of John the Baptist. She made it clear that they don't have anything to do with actual baptist churches. The sad part is that now they are famous thanks to their cruel display of disrespect for fallen US soldiers.
