We're in a relationship with Jesus and in a relationship, we have to do different things. So, what do you plan on doing for Jesus today, tomorrow or next Thursday? Is reading the bible and prayer the only answer that most of us can come up with? Spitball some ideas so we can all cheat off each others answers;)

Believe Him and Trust in Him.. And attempt to share His wonderful wisdom with others..

But in the end what can one really do for God? What does God need from us?? In the end what we try to give or do for God will pail into insignificance compared to what He has given and done for us.. It's a nice thought to attempt to give something to God but in the end God owns everything so what ever we are giving God has provided us with it to give to Him.. So in the end we really cannot give God anything..

Absolutely- God needs nothing from us. He created all things, and He is lacking nothing. It's naive, at best, to think that we can give God anything that He needs.

But...what about what He wants from us? Surely you can think of at least a couple of verses that tell us in no uncertain terms what the Lord wants us to do? ;)

That's true, but what we can be giving God is our worship of Him through what we do for Him.

I believe God loves it and gains great pleasure if we trust Him and acknowledge His will as Good and true..
So we may be fulfilling a desire of God... But we are not giving God anything He needs
