Scripture says:

To deceive the elect.jpg

I've been postulating that trump and the republicans who support him are a manifestation of these scriptures. Obviously this ruffles the snot out of his supporters. But I'm willing to consider I may be wrong.

So, how do YOU see these prophesies being fulfilled?

Curious... I've been tying these verses to what's going on with the republican party, and others have been telling me I'm crazy. Yet given the the chance to share with me how THEY interpret them, no one wants to address it. I guess there's more scripture to be redacted from the MRV.

(Excepting the guy who thinks these only apply to 70 AD and are no longer meaningful. In which case they still need redacting since they don't apply to us).

Not sure if I want to answer. Wrong on so many levels. I have no clue how you are trying to tie this to Trump or anyone for that matter. You clearly no offense don't know president Trump meaning what he believes nor most of those that voted for him. So not going to even try to touch that. God does as you said ruffle.. feathers huh lol. 2015 God told more then one about what was coming and God was spot on. It happened exactly as He said.

I have to toss all that out. Those verse are not about politics. Not about Trump since hes saved loves Jesus as lord and so do many many of those that voted for him. The verses you put together to say something they never said, and some out of context. It was always about Israel and not about the USA...but also the world.

its why we always read above and below a verse and then there are those verses we must deal with just who and what and the time they were speaking. Then what other scholars say. The red flag for me here is "with the republican party ". So I will say this is the perfect forum " Conspiracy & Corruption". The enemy does not ever point to Jesus Christ as lord the way the truth and the life. Anyway.. best not to get in Gods way. Yeah.. we get no say in who God uses.

You might want to include your Dem friends in that.

This is talking about religious leaders, not political leaders.

IMHO, the dems are deceiving the world. They're not my friends.

The scriptures talk about false prophets, regardless of where they come from. Yes there are many church leaders these days fulfilling them. But it doesn't rule out political leaders. And politicians are who is on the forefront these days. Like I've said, history is repeating itself. The Jews thought their Messiah would be a political leader who'd save them from Godless Romans. Today, many Christians are looking for a political leader who'll save them from Godless liberals. It didn't work out so well for the Jews. And it won't work out any better for Christians.

It's not just Trump, he's just the biggest figurehead. It encompasses the entire republican party, save Liz Cheney and the few like her. Republicans are the party of mammon worship, self-idolatry, cheating workers, abandonment of the poor/sick/foreigner, and the embracers of lies and hypocrisy. NONE of which are Biblical mores, even tho the right claims to be "the party of God". While the left deceives the world, the right is deceiving believers. Which I believe makes them more dangerous.

And I fully expect Trump to be back in the WH in 2025

The term "Godless Liberals" is nonsense. There are many Liberals who are Christians, including myself. In fact, Jesus was a Liberal in the sense that He stood up to the conservatives of His time -- the Pharisees, Sadducees, and the Jewish Ruling Council.

Yes there are many God fearing liberals. And I would say that while Jesus embraced ideals from both sides, He leaned more to the 'left'.

But among trumplicans, they see liberals as being Godless and an enemy to be vanquished. That's why they have conflated the cross with the elephant to an alarming level.

Both sides embraced ideals from Jesus. How many anti Trump threads have you made so far?

I'm still waiting to hear someone tie those scriptures to something other than the conflation of the Cross and the elephant.

Funny how so many think I'm wrong, but given the chance to show me how else those scriptures could be fulfilled, all I hear is crickets.
