Well the great commission is to preach the gospel of Salvation thru Christ to the world so expect to be preached at. Non Christians are welcome so we can try to convert them. If you hang around here expect to get preached at. We would like the world to give up it's humanistic ways and turn the real one and only God through his Son Jesus the Christ from the village of Nazareth and the tribe of Judah.

I'd bet (if I still gambled) you don't believe in the spiritual realm either.
I came to be preached at! And i would say that there is something in the universe which we would currently describe as 'spiritual' which we don't really understand yet, but I think it would be so monumental in time and space we can't comprehend it. Also, that it wouldn't really care whether we praised its name constantly, who we had sex with (or how we had sex with them) or if we worked on an certain day or whatever.

This is simply not true. The eyes are fundamentally very complex organs for the perception of colour and light. We can see an early example of light perception in sunflowers, as a relatively recent development, and colour perception in unicellular organisms like algae billions of years ago. The evolution of light perception is evident in the oldest, simplest lifeforms, as the most primal vehicle for energy absorption other than electron-gradients in variable salinity waters.
It seems you have no concept of what it means to say "progression" as in, within a species. Not, hey, here we have light perception in certain flowers and then try to make that say it shows the evolution of the complexity of the eye in humans in the fossil record. And you also seemed to overlook the fact that I gave a LINK to a SOURCE. I am simply relaying information :) You have disproved nothing, in fact.

I was raised Christian, so I'm familiar with the bible, and actually have re-read both very recently, I'm not here to annoy people, just ask learn a little more about the community, because, if I'm honest, there are a few things I've seen and read here that are a bit 'off the wall' particularly in this conspiracy thread! I'm not here to judge nor to try and convince anyone of my beliefs (as if I could!). I became an atheist due to what you would call lack of faith, but I would call lack of evidence.
I find the atheistic view is becoming more and more prevalent in these last couple of generations, most Christians find this to be a "sign of the times" that we are getting close to the end, perhaps that's why your here. If you've re-read (I'm assuming you mean old and new testaments when you say both) the 66 canonical books of the Christian Holy Bible recently, then you are doing more than most Christians, most of the 2 billion Christians on the planet today are quite happy to attend church and try to live their lives in the best way they can.
So if you've read scripture I ask.... what genre do you place it in? fiction, history, both or something else?
Genesis 11: 6 And the Lord said, “Behold, they are one people, and they have all one language, and this is only the beginning of what they will do. And nothing that they propose to do will now be impossible for them.
How do you suppose the writer of Genesis knew that the invention of universal communication (aka world wide web) would increase mans abilities to the point that nothing we propose is impossible?

To say the He Who created all that is and gave us life cares not a whit how we live this life is very short-sighted. Seems a bit of a deistic view. And, though you refer to God as a dictator, He has given you a choice as to whether you care to acknowledge Him as the giver of life... or not. It matters what you choose to believe, don't you agree?

Not really if he's gonna chuck me in a big fire for eternity. Not much of a choice! And I see it the other way round, the idea that something as powerful and majestic as 'God' would care if we have sex before marriage or which fabrics we wear seems very short sighted.

You perhaps need to be made aware that the old covenants were not given to Gentiles (us ;)). In fact Jesus came to enact a NEW and BETTER covenant. So your constant referal back to what is being made obsolete is counter productive. Also, if you really cannot see that God cares about how we treat others, and that how we treat others very much impacts the quality of our lives, again, you simply show how short sighted you are :(

So the OT isn't the word of God?

I can read! But you didn't answer the question, also, why would god need to update and improve his covenant? Couldn't he just get it right the first time?

I only have 4 questions for you: Is God the creator of the universe or not? Is Jesus his son or not? Is the Bible the word of God or not? If you answered not 1 time, why are you on a Christian site?

remember my parent analogy... of course our Father cares what we do, what kind of parent would he be if he didn't? do you realize they now know circumcision actually is a benefit when compared to uncircumcised males in the transmission of venereal disease. On that note how does one avoid veneral disease on the whole, not that it's very practical in this day and age but abstinence would work (no one ever listens to their parents humor) Love is the answer to all questions

You are showing a shocking inability to comprehend that which is repeatedly being said to you. Jesus was promised from the opening chapters of Genesis, purposed from BEFORE the foundation of the world, and looked forward to for thousands of years. Is the OT the revealed written Word of God? Of course it is. Are you capable of comprehending that the law was not given to Gentiles, but to Israel as a nation? Saying such does not in any way negate the fact that it is the Word of God.

Ok well then I would ask why god is 'playing favourites' with the tribes of the old world, and if there was this plan from before the foundation of the world, why would that plan include, for example, Sodom and Gomorrah? And why would the plan involve humanity becoming so screwed up that God would have to sacrifice his son/self to set it straight again and unveil a new covenant to the gentiles? Why couldn't he just have salvation from the start? I'm also curious where Cain's wife came from.

Abstinence would work, but so would condoms!

And why
Kind of getting away from my point that GOD our Father definitely cares about what we do and only teaches us to do what's best for us.
Well why create foreskins and venereal disease in the first place??

You've played this game before. The Spirit teaches and you know too much about scripture to be an atheist. Most atheists are like most Christians the bible is just too confusing to read. Have fun, would enjoy speaking about scripture honestly. Love in the Lord Jesus
