I think all kids like a good mystery drama. When we mature in Christ though, we are going to find all that worldly attention getting less and less time, because we can't help but sit as the feet of Jesus listening to Him and anointing his feet with oil, and nothing else on this planet is a thing when with Him.

There's plenty of scriptures to show exactly what a sword is, maybe the second greatest commandment will help or Ephesians 6:12

There is spiritual meaning where it calls for it, and there usually will be more then one scripture to back up other meanings, as the word " sword ", this is a spiritual fight. As for agreeing with evolution or billion year theories, I don't think God would make it confusing, if he meant billions he wouldn't have said in 6 days, it's just a disagreement, but still friends We are united in the thought Jesus saves, as you said in another thread, this stuff doesn't matter, it's the foundation of Christ in us that does matter..

Amen! I'm so happy God healed you!!! Getting into that stuff is super dangerous!!! I've only researched like the celebs in it. But I stopped because it scared me and God said Fear is not of Him. We aren't supposed to look into those things. They aren't good. Maybe now you could get your family back? And that's true. Not an oxymoron anymore because with the internet they have been discussed as never before, though there were those that did write books, they didn't get around as the internet has. So now they're - these that do have an agenda for world governance, are more "in your face" about it because with the internet came profiling and statistical analysis of people's reaction to this being brought out and they see that those that ignore it are more than those that expose them. We've [the general populace] have been sufficiently dumbed-down and too lazy to research further.
But it doesn't make any difference whether we do or not - as they, Biblically, will have their way until He returns and totally ruins their plans. Awwwww - poor Global Initiative folks.

I just read the whole of the thread and I believe that God leads 'some' to this info and others just don't need to know. Period.
It won't change God's good plans for them if they are the some that don't need to know.
No problem either way, as long as you're in Christ and your goal is to get as close to Him through His Word & His Spirit as one can.
To me - I'm Not a legalist, but TV and movies are not for Christians. Just throwing that out there.
Nothing that's not based on reality or that is pure fiction or may border on immoral, should not enter a Christians eyes.
We only weaken ourselves = the Spirit that is in us, and these things are just boosters to our flesh. Carnal entertainment is time wasted when one could be growing in the Knowledge of Christ and The Word of God - our sword of The Spirit for the wicked days ahead and be 'overcomers' not compromised carnal chrisitians - that are at a very high risk of being deceived. His Word is the lamp at the feet of the five wise virgins. Fill up on it and asked to be filled with His Spirit.

To the OP: I'm sorry you went thru all that man and wish you well in the future.
I used to be into conspiracy theories myself, but was only a moderate believer.
After I getting saved, the more I got into Scripture the quicker I realized that 99% of these conspiracy theories are a load of bunk and have no Scriptural basis whatsoever.
It's also very telling how much of a booming business conspiracy has become. These guys and gals make money off of the woefully gullible via books, DVDs, lectures, and doomsday care packages. You would think if this information were so earth-shatteringly important they would offer it for free, right?
Meanwhile, God offers the Truth, free of charge, in His Word.

A one world government is not a load of bunk. Neither are the Words of Christ concerning the events that surround the days/years before His Return.
God has led some of us - after we were fully Grounded in His Word and Out of 'worldliness' - into actual conspiracy truths,
starting with Psalm 2 and giving us the Historical activities of certain Nations & powers-that-be regarding Israel from approx 7 decades back -- brought us through Daniel, Isaiah, and the other prophets of the O.T. and then through the N.T. and lined up History, Current Events and HIS Word to form our understanding of how things are and will be and what will come next and John 16:13 factored in at all times ... as HE commanded that we "understand" so that we not be taken by surprise at those things that are to come nor deceived.
Eschatology is #2 on my list of priorities and has been for 35 yrs -- and not by my own choosing.
CT = conspiracy truth, if you're following His Word 1st, Living Seperate from the world & the things in it -- then learn the History & then keep up on Current Events & the people involved ... receiving from Factual sources that God provides - not men.
If this order is out or off in any way - yes, you'll pay with your mind or throw it all out as bunk, or follow some rabbit trail because one of the prerequisites are missing. That's what His Word says.

Quite the contrary, prior to the Antichrist's rule the world will go thru a series of unprecedented, catastrophic events.
For starters, Revelation 6:12 predicts there will be a massive earthquake. And soon thereafter, a shifting of the earth's axis that will cause "every mountain and island" to flee. Geography and topography will both be rearranged. Isaiah 24:20 also describes the earth as reeling "to and fro like a drunkard". Also take note that Acts 3:21 promises the "restoration of all things." All things would include the land being lumped together into one gigantic land mass as it was in the beginning (Genesis 1:9):
This geographical rearrangement begins with the events depicted in Revelation 6:12 and culminates towards the end of Tribulation when even more rearrangement will take place, Rome will be nuked off the map, and most major cities will be reduced to nothing (Isaiah 24:1,10-12,18-20;Revelation 16:18-20; 18:8, 19-21).
It will be a depopulated chaotic world plagued with war, terror, confusion, disease, and food and water shortages (Revelation chapters 8, 9). New World Order? More like new world chaos. Only in the aftermath of this devastation, will Antichrist emerge, resurrected from hell itself (Revelation 17:8), and form a 10-king coalition. These ten kings, who hail from both the Eastern and Western territories that once comprised the former Roman Empire (Daniel 2:33-35, 40-44), will submit to his rule willingly (Revelation 13:1; 17:12,13,17).
The reason these people will submit to Antichrist is they will not only be looking for someone capable of restoring order but, more importantly, they will be seeking a champion--a leader with supernatural powers who can challenge Jesus' authority (Psalms 2:1-3,8-12).
What compels these people in supporting Antichrist is not cunning diplomacy or Machiavellian maneuvering, rather a combination of desperation and deception. They will be deceived into believing that this guy can actually defeat Jesus. For the record, they're screwed because nobody can defeat Jesus--after all He is God and He is invincible (Revelation 17:14).

Yes, and I'm not going to relate " all conspiracy to the illuminati " as a few will believe what they want. Just have faith in Christ, who has rule over all, that's all that really matters. As for tv, hardly watch the thing, I do have one. I might watch the news or c-span, Charlie Rose..a decent plotted film, Little things that has nothing to do with breaking reality from fiction and mixing them up to confuse the two as one, as they do today. Just be watchful and conscious to what's going on.

Definitely. This is so much bigger than just the Illuminati. It may have started there spiritually - but in other circles having world government for "peace" has been outside of these few in these Masonic/Illuminist groups.
I was thinking today, that if it could be proved that Main Stream News is controlled and the agenda is world governance and pumping the public for a WWIII by putting up an artificial enemy that will cause us to back this next WW ---- again, if it could be proved - would we believe it?
Can't get that one question off of my mind because I believe that is most definitely the case and it's scarey to think that the elect are being tempted to believe a lie - the lie that will usher in the anti-Christ ... as I believe that has always been a plan for the world wars to eventually take over in full strength and eventually make Jerusalem their Capital.
Not just from random thinking - but from documents that I was shown over 20 yrs ago. My heart is literally hurting, Brothers & Sisters. He loves us so much but we choose who to believe.
The agenda is to gradually dis-arm our police as well - and then our national military to form what is like NATO and that was since back in Kennedy's day... though part and parcel of the League of Nations from it's inception.
