The new Flat Earth Society got me thinking... I use to think "that is so dumb", but it sparked a thought in my head. "Why believe in anything"? What is truth? If i can be lied to by some external source, like a humans voice, what else can i be lied to about? Perhaps a humans understanding? They say, for example, the universe is 13 billion years old... They say it... But some times people make mistakes... I think the peaks of science have to be more mysterious, then conclusive. And the flat earth society? They want proof... They want to know... I love that about them... I just want to believe in what i know to be true.. A scientist telling me something might not necessarily be a truth.. It could be a false conclusion. Could be a lie. A failed hypothesis, that sometimes people just flat out proclaim... Shoot i get mad at the dang engineers that build our roads all messed up, so what about a scientist telling me some crazy mysterious truth? Who knows... Maybe the earth is flat?

How can i prove it otherwise? A picture from a space station? Shoot that could be made up? People saying so? "let all men be liars and God be true"

Whos going to prove this to me? lets get our minds together. In fact, maybe i should go to flat earth society, we will try to establish some valid science to help us come to rational conclusions.

You might not want to put too much stock in the Flat Earth Society [website]; however, 'Flat Earth' is certainly worth researching.

The Bible says, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge" (Hosea 4:6) and "test all things; hold fast what is good" (1 Thessalonians 5:21). It is definitely good to examine things and ask questions like the noble Berean Jews in Acts 17 who examined the Scriptures to verify if what Paul was preaching was true. Always be ready to give an answer for the hope that is in you (1 Peter 3:15). Truth was revealed by God and Satan is the father of lies. Be careful who you trust. The Bible is the ultimate authority. You also don't want to fall into relativism and think there is no objective truth or reality. That could lead you vulnerable to any mass deception like the so-called Mandela effect or alien invasion etcetera and eventually the end times antichrist abomination of desolation that will deceive everyone else. That being said, you bring up some interesting questions. I would add to anyone reading, whether you believe the earth is round or flat, why do certain people on each side feel the need to laugh and belittle those that hold the opposite opinion? Don't let Satan cause more division. We believers are brothers and sisters in Christ, so simply agree to disagree.
