I think the Statue of Liberty may be some sort of Trojan Horse. Think about it... a large, hollow object, given to us by a foreign country, with the expectation that we will place it in a prominent location. Have we ever scanned that thing for explosives or anything?

If anybody takes this thread seriously, they don't get to have Christmas this year.

No need to.
Its right there, she's holding it in her arm.

It was placed there by 19 extremists, ...(who conveniently dropped their passports at the Liberty base)......of course this was after they used a paper clip as a weapon to gain access to her.

If it were a Trojan horse it'd either be full of skeletons by now, or the French had some awesome time delay explosive technology for their time. Maybe someone knew and that's why they have it surrounded by water?

There is a Statue of Liberty in Las Vegas too. Maybe it's a good luck charm.

Strictly speaking of conspiracy, there are many well-supported articles expounding on the idea that the Statue of Liberty actually represents Semiramis, or the queen of Babylon.

If I have something I want to get rid of, I don't mind who has it as
long as its no longer cluttering up the place.

Maybe it was just a big bit of clutter!

I read a similarly ridiculous story which tried to use numerology to say the Statue of Liberty is satanic

Yeah...in pieces.
Ready to assemble.

Just once, I'd like to get something from overseas via eBay, that came already assembled.

Well-supported articles? *snort* I seriously doubt it. I suppose you also want to tell me that it's well-documented that Semiramis married Nimrod? Which is a load of crock, because the two lived many, many, many, many years apart.
