Yeah... My brother is gay and I'm pretty sure that he's never tried to molest a teenaged boy...

There's a BIG fat difference between homosexuality (the attraction to the same sex) and pedophilia (the attraction to children.) This is the same hateful non-facts that the Family Research Council spews and it's the reason they're labeled a hate group. They use LIES to make people like you believe their made up facts.

Hi, I saw your post, and am interested in giving you my own perspective. I think people mis-understand their personality and thats why they think their gays or born to be gay, or different from everybody.
I will explain better.

A lady becos she is maxculin like that is, she likes to dress like a guy, where pants, put on a base ball cap, prefers t-shirsts, dance like a guy(break, creep walk, rap and others), and enjoys looking at ladies that are same sex doesnt mean you are gay. Same thing for a guy that walks like a lady, loves colorful outwears, perfumes, likes femini stuff(music, style, hair make plays with doll and other stuff doesnt make him guy)

People say i act femine, but am not gay. I understand how everybody feels in this category. so,
My perspective is that, you just need to find the companion that has your interest at heart, that both of you flow in the same frequency.
For example, if you act like a guy, wat you need to do is find a guy who acts feminine, or if you act feminine but still likes feminine company, gist, appreciation, find a guy who can also act that way to meet your needs.
Sometimes, we are looking the wrong way for our answers. Or we have set a lot of wrong standards that wouldn't allow one find wat he or she is actually looking for.

Sometimes, if could be more complex than wat i suggested.
Ineed you to please reply, so that we culdnt positive clearify the issue.

You appear to have formed some false constructs in your mind. One of them looks to be that in order for a person to be humble, they must condone homosexual immorality in other people's lives. That's a patently false view of humility.

Love is many things but it is never about empowering evil, condoning wickedness, maligning the truth, engaging in codependence, etc...

When you really love people you tell them the truth even when they have been deceived by the devil and ensnared in serious sexual sin like homosexuality, adultery, and fornication.

In my opinion, you have a lot to learn about real love. That love causes people to purify themselves as John said in 1 John 3:3, "Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself just as he is pure."

Let's view the passage in context:

"Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.

Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin. No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.

^ No confusion here on this end. One doesn't have to be perfect to purify themselves and exhort others to do the same. John wasn't and John wrote the book of 1 John in the canon.

Now would be a good time to pull the log out of your own eye and stop worrying about the speck you think you see in mine. You can start practicing brotherly love by ceasing from engaging in ad hominem and false accusations about my character.

I'm hoping you'll grow in true love which is 100% responsible and jettison the counterfeit of acceptance of wickedness as love.

You have the right to feel and say how you feel and or believe, and thank you, you think I do not love, and so let it be.
We all are growing in grace, undeserved grace for each of us from God, which is absolutely amazing
Romans 5:6 When we were utterly helpless, with no way of escape, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners who had no use for him.

No matter whether one continues to sin or not, that fact remains the same, undeserved grace, I hope to not ever sin again and I can' ever predict any future. As a matter of fact a messenger of Satan comes along every time I think I am pure just as he is pure, or just as because of Christ I am pure, which is truth, the being pure by belief from God, but when I get cocky, arrogant, proud, and or boastful, the messenger is right there to buffet me, GOD"S grace is sufficient for me, you and all that belief.
God does the increase to each that belief that God has accepted. We are born again to love, God's way not condemn the world's way as in our own judgments of what is good or bad. Today it is much further beyond that.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Lesson our judgement of others. We never see the whole picture. Never.
there are 1,000 reasons a person can behave a particular way. We don't know what is going on in their movie that motivates them to act in that way. I never know how I'd behave if I were in the other shoes. Today little by little, it would be good to learn to be more forgiving. Learn to where we can come from a place of help, rather than Judgement.

Judgments are only based on what one sees, from their owns thoughts. From their own experiences. There is truly only one that knows all. that one would be and is the creator of all.
If one learns to listen to the creator as Jesus Christ revealed to all mankind. (Christ taught us, to do nothing or say nothing w/o Father's instruction first and foremost), we would make the right judgments, with out condemnation. ( coming from the one listening),much less likely
The ones that argued would reveal their true selves, as was done in the day of visitation from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Steer clear from arguments, seek the truth in all things and one shall be free from the world and it's traps.

1 Timothy 1:16 But God had mercy on me so that Christ Jesus could use me as an example to show everyone how patient he is with even the worst sinners, so that others will realize that they, too, can have everlasting life.

Love you the same as God's love is to all. It by believing God becomes your personal relationship between the two of you. Praying you start to sek out who this God really is and how deep this love is, that I am posting to you

I spent my life doing two things, playing music, and fighting, both in and out of a ring, and in doing these activities I have learned to be very respectful to others...I have attempted to bring a few gay people to church, the subtle undercurrent of distain was far to much for them to deal with, so they just never came back...Maybe, just maybe, if those churches were a little more loving and a little less judgmental, theses people might have found Christ and dealt with their passions in a different manner, but we will never really know that because the doors were shut in their faces before they even walked in the church, yet the doors are always open to drug addicts, (like myself, Im sober 30 years now) thieves, even people who have taken other peoples lives, but a gay man or woman is shut out, this is insane in my view, and not at all Christ like in any way..I have just never met a man or woman that walks without sin. I also find myself astonished that any group of men or woman place their sinful acts in a higher position then anothers...We have men and woman foreclosing mortgages on homes, knowing the loanees and their families will be out on the street in a week, and yet go to church on sunday not even given their acts a second thought. Or the man that lusts all day in his heart after woman, other then his wife, or people who strike out in anger on a regular basis, and the list goes on and on, or judge on a regular basis, all in the name of, what in their view is, decrement...I have to look all day at my thought processes in order to keep my side of the street clean, how can I even have the time to deal with anyone else's log, other then to pray for them, God knows we all need prayer...You either extend an olive brance to someone, or you extend a buush with thorns...No desent human being deserves to be served up with a thorney bush, and no one should ever be turned away from the possibility of gaining a relationship with Christ...Christ got it all right, the rest of us, well, lets just pray, we can some day see in full...God Bless

And so god has had Mercy on us, knowing we are born after the flesh as Adam and Ever were. Seeing this as not our fault, being born this way, so in God's Mercy has given us his Son.

Following on from this, I would like to pass comment on my own Bible Studies into the New Covenant as given to us by Christ. After all, he did die on the cross for that New Covenant, and that the curtain in the temple was ripped in two so that ANYONE may approach the Lord.

First off, Jesus does tell us to look at everything in context. Just take the "turn the other cheek" example. That was actually all to do with respect, and about which side of the hand was used shows how the person slapping saw you. Likewise, we need to look at the ENTIRETY of Leviticus and all of it's laws.

Now, whilst Jesus did not come to overturn and of the old laws (The 10 Commandments) - "Don't suppose I have come to demolish the scriptures - either God's Law or the Prophets. I am not here to demolish, but to complete" Matthew 5 v 17 (Message Version). He then goes through all of the old laws that will be applied under the New Covenant. None of them include homosexuality (not for men or women), or food (as many of you know, Leviticus is famous for all of its laws on food).

Looking at the entirety of Leviticus in context with some non-religious documents, it is clear to see why God gave the Israelites those laws. When travelling for FOURTY YEARS in an enclosed community, there are various steps that must be taken in order to keep that community alive, and one of those things was controlling illicit sexual relations - just look at what homosexuality did for AIDS historically. However, we are now in a world where we have brilliant medical treatment - which, whether people like it or not, has been provided by God in one way or another - and are not from threat of death (in most places, though. I do indeed pray for our brothers and sisters where they are in a life threatening situation). Thus, looking at everything in context AND under the new covenant, Homosexuality is no longer an issue in that sense.

What is an issue is one of two things: First is Homosexual marriage in the Church, and second is the promiscuity involved with Homosexuality (and sexuality in general, as it is now).

Personally, I would not be comfortable with being homosexual - I'm as straight as a ruler, but I see no problem with people being Homosexual, or with being a Christian at the same time. As homwardbound said, we have all sinned in the eyes of God, and none of us are worthy.

Also, as a closing point, what about Male/Female brains being born into the body of an opposite gender? Biologically speaking, it is perfectly possible, and in fact does happen on a semi-frequent basis. Are you saying that they should be treated differently because of how they have been born? And, had they been born into a body that matched their brain, would you have a problem with them then?

Without God "I" also am nothing. How did you come to God? And now that you believe God, do you follow 100% being under Law as you just spoke it, that there can be no gay Christian
How is your obedience? Do you love all as God has and does love you?

Thanks for that and it is now up to each person to see the unfathomable love from God to us through Son, Christ at the cross, and respond accordingly as God leads us.
Thus when one does see this indescribable love, then one as an ex: becomes like an onion and is being peeled, not by force ever, by one asking God to show then truth. As one gets peeled like an onion, one cries and cries and cries, whether tears or anger still a form of crying.
Has anyone ever noticed after an onion is peeled ad one gets to the center of the onion it is so sweet.
Well you all, tat is God doing the peeling of you, as you see it is not punishment that we all are going through as man has proclaimed is. Rather it is God allowing us to be perfected in God, will we so choose to be and be as God sees what is best for us

I think it all comes down to people are broken, There are christians out there that struggle with same sex attraction and choose to battle it, and others that choose to give in and act on it. I have heard of people who absolutely and undoubtedly have a heart to serve god that cry every night because they are attracted to the same sex. I believe its brokenness, just like I have not been to happy with times in my life that i have struggled with living in sin (not homosexuality) but normal man stuff weather its living with pride or sexual temptation etc. NOW the difference is how you deal with that brokenness, If you give in to it and choose to live with it or let it define you, it will run your life. . . BUT if you surrender it to god and be persistent in perusing what he has for your life the word is really clear that god WILL bring wholeness and life. As far as interacting with people struggling with homosexual temptation, the word is really clear on how to deal with them. . . LOVE ON THEM . . . just as you would need, the word says to love your neighbor. i believe it means love your neighbor weather they are black, white, straight, gay, short, tall, annoying, smelly ect lol. anyhow, I hope this helps :)

What I am about to write here is never easy to admit. I am not proud of the way I feel. But each time I tell others my story, it becomes a little easier to breathe when I can reveal to others who I am and what I face.

I just want to clarify that, "who I am" will always be more than simply the struggles I may face in this life. I believe that though I may not be exactly what God wants me to be now, in this moment, every day He is making me into what He always knew I could become.

When I reflect on my life as a Christian who daily struggles with strong sexual and emotional attractions towards other females, I often feel like such a failure. I have felt this way ever since I was sexually abused one afternoon by a female baby-sitter when I was about 6 or 7 years old. It may sound terrible to admit, but I somewhat enjoyed what my abuser was doing to me at the time. At such a young age, I never realized what she did to me was wrong. From that day on, I was drawn to girls, wanting to write love letters and such and always seeking what I once felt with my abuser. I know all this may seem messed up. It was in a way. But this is my story. I had crushes on many of my close girlfriends, though I never told them, and often pushed them away when I felt the attractions might cause me to do something I regret. Because of this battle within myself, I pushed away a lot of amazing friends. The first person I truly fell in love with was my roommate in college. I had begun to cut myself because I was so sick of not being able to turn off my attractions toward girls. I knew God must have been throughly disappointed in me that by then I hadn't gotten my "crap" together. I finally told my roommate what I was struggling with on a prayer retreat, expecting that she might freakout on me. It took her by surprise, but she didn't push me away. In fact she loved me as a friend and for the most part tried her best to protect our friendship and not let my attractions towards her get in the way. Sometimes trying isn't enough. I won't go into details, but I felt our friendship had changed. Eventually she graduated and wanted to stay in touch, though she was leaving the country. I told her never to contact me. It was just too hard to see her go, and too confusing to continue our relationship, yet I loved her very much.

Fast forward till now, after more than three years of counseling with a renown Christian sex-therapist, I felt like I had discovered almost all there is to know about homosexuality from a Christian and Secular standpoint. I know now that even though I was sexually abused just once, it somehow changed something deep within me. I also know that it is more than simply that. I am not blaming my abuser for the way my life is now or the way it has turned out so far. Their are many people who have been abused that somehow have risen above all that pain and allowed God to heal them. My mother is example of just how powerful the love and healing of Christ can be. She was raped by her father on numerous occasions as a young child and out of all her siblings, she is the only one who can actually say that she has forgiven him and prays that God will bring him to Himself one day before he dies. You see, no matter what our earthly fathers may do, they are still our fathers. I do not write that easily or flippantly.

All this to say, I don't know if one day I will ever be free from this struggle I have. Honestly I am quite weary. Yet when I think of this quote by Theodore Roosevelt, it gives me courage.

"It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better.
The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming; but who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotions; who spends himself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat."
First, I am sorry about your abuse and struggles.

I am glad you are able connect the dots. You see, the sexual abuse you endured caused you to feel this way. A good friend of mine was sexually abused as a child, by a male cousin. Like you, he too had these sexual desires towards the same gender. I strongly believe if he had not been abused, he would not have these struggles. At 7 years old, i was sexually abused by an old man who lived next door. He was well loved and trusted by people in the community. He didn't just abused me, he abused many girls in the neighborhood. I actually never told my my mom about this and still can't even to this day. I don't want her to feel bad and blame herself.


i just remember a lot of touching. There were 2 other girls in the bedroom each time. They were two years older so I am sure it might have been worse for them. Honestly, I can't remember details and I don't try to. In my teenage years I started feeling dirty and very guilty. At 18 I had sex with a guy I loved mostly desiring that dirty feeling would go away. I am not advocating sex outside of marriage, but I somehow started to feel better about myself. I guess it may be because his touch was not unwanted and I knew he loved me. Later I fell in love with someone else, who is now my husband. He brought me to church with him. It was then I started studying the bible. It was during this time I realized that God truly loved me and that I was special to Him. It was pretty much like a miracle because all that guilt and shame left me. I no longer felt dirty too. Growing up, I struggled with intrusive sexual thoughts about perverted old men. Of course I realized that it was from the abuse. Fortunately, all the guys I dated were around my age.


Unfortunately, there are so many men and women who were abused as a child. I do believe this abuse contributed to homosexual thoughts/acts (if abused by the same gender) and a promiscuous life when abused by the opposite gender. There are so many of these abusers in public schools. They send the worst ones there. A married teacher tried so many times to sleep with me but I repeatedly turned him down.


When I have children, I personally will not trust them around anyone. It doesn't matter if the person is gay or straight, rich or poor, male or female or their race. I had other experiences but won't get into that.

i wonder what go thinks when he see us talking so much about sin and condeming people when we could be spending are time talking to none believers and spreading the Gospel of his love... i can only wonder
