I see your point and agree that we cannot fully live up to the expectations of the entire law as God would have us do, but is not obeying the commandments of God keeping the law?

God gave many commands, Ie commands on marriage Commands to not forsake assembling ourselves. Commands to love and serve each other and others.. etc etc..
It is like the word baptize. We do not always have to assume it means water when we see it.
